It's true! Good riddance to that banana roll, who believed he was taller than the rest of the ride. ;)

We continue to see great new updates from Kennywood's Twitter account on the construction of Steel Curtain! This thing continues to grow as the lift hill hill has been completed and work on the station track is under way!

Steel Curtain’s lift hill is nearing its maximum height of 220 feet! #SteelCurtain

Lots of heavy lifting done on The #SteelCurtain lift hill over the past several days. Let's see if we can't get this baby to 220 this week!

Talk about a mesh point! From left to right, you have the lift hill, corked roll and banana roll all zipping through view. #SteelCurtain

Get excited, roller coaster fans! While ironworkers continue install at the top of The #SteelCurtain lift hill, crews on the ground are busy on the loading station.
Change the scheme, Alter the mood! Electrify the boys and girls if you would be so kind!

We went to the Steel Curtain Construction Tour on the 20th, here's some of the pictures we took!
grab your hard hats, vests, and safety goggles!
ready to see some construction!
Banana Roll...that sounds delicious!
here they had a press conference and discussed the new attractions that will be coming with the new roller coaster!
they showed us the buildings they are working on for the new attractions for the steeler experience
some of the parts had weights written on them which we thought was cool
they brought this track piece while we were waiting to go for the tour!
souvenirs? ;)
their workstation, we thought this was really cool to see
progress on the part they were working on
looks so good from afar as well!
this concludes our trip report! the new skyline is looking good! Steel Curtain will be a nice addition!

Great pictures, especially the workstation one - it's an interesting aspect you don't normally get to see (although it does remind me of flat pack furniture assembly instructions!)

I roomed with Tony and lived to tell about it!

Cool pictures, thanks for the update!

I was out at the Waterfront area on Saturday, and was able to catch a few glimpses of SC in the distance. The scale of this thing hadn't really hit me until I saw it from far away...that lift hill is pretty massive.

Yummy! I just ate donkey!

It's nearing completion in real life, yet the ride still seems like something out of a weird dream.
