I was able to grab a few photos at the park today, including a few at night.

Nice pictures! I love AK at night. It's such a dark park and it's usually pretty empty at night.

Yeah DAK at night is awesome, that's one of the reasons I'm excited about Pandora and the Rivers of Light parade show thing, now the park will hopefully be open past 6 oclock!

It really looks nice there, at night. All the more reason I love any and all theme parks at night.

Thanks for sharing the photos. :mickey:

Update on Rivers of Light from the Disney Parks Blog:
First Look: ‘Rivers of Light’ To Debut April 22 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Image
Today we’re happy to share that Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s first-ever night-time show, “Rivers of Light,” will officially debut at the park on April 22.

The show, set on Discovery River in the Asia section of the park, will depict an ancient lantern festival guided by two storytellers who call forth four animal Spirit Guides: an Asian Tiger, Tropical Turtle, African Elephant and Great Horned Owl. These Spirit Guides return at different points during the show to lead the audience through their journey through the Rivers of Light.

Check out the video below to get the first look at some of the illuminated lanterns, water screens, moving fountains, light projections and other amazing elements that will be featured in “Rivers of Light.”

We’ll have much more to share with you as work continues toward the show’s April 22 debut. Be sure to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more.

It sounds like this show will have a more coherent story than the movie clip fest of World of Color at DCA.

Exciting stuff! I had a feeling the Fantasmic water projection screens would appear in this new show. Anybody catch wind of the updated park hours during show nights?
