I love pie
Europa Park have announced the "World's First VR Coaster..." I would'nt say first, as Blue Fire had VR headsets for a short period of time.... I wish they did the VR on Silver Star.
KingRCT3
La Ronde did that in 2013, too. I don't know if it was open to the public, though. As for Europa Park, do whatever you want, but please oh please enhance the quality of the 3D models... It looks so outdated.
Mauer02
Yes... but in Europa Park, it's the First one, also normal Visitors could Ride... And just before i forget: Arthur is getting a 2nd Poppy Tower ( Zampala Jump Around )... It will be open at 28.11.2015 when the Chrismas Season starts
Projektion
A bit off topic from the VR-Coaster, but I was at EP for the first time a couple of weeks ago and got to ride Silver Star. Wtf is with that drop out of the mcbr, it has some of the most out of no where, strong airtime I've felt on a coaster in the back row, and since the coaster gets panned so much by enthusiasts, it took me completely by surprise. shadox17
[twitter] [/twitter] I would ride the hell out of that!!!
oriolat
That final inline twist is already crazy as it is now, but it must be completely nuts with spinning cars. It looks like Mack are really stepping up their game!
Kooky
here is a video of Mack testing the new spinning prototyp car on BlueFire, seems to be a lot of fun: Edited November 19, 2015 by robbalvey
rcjp
This made me think of how it'd be to have a looping spinning coaster. I imagine awesome!
viking86
^Well, spinning coaster with inversion already exist, but you have to go to Japan if you want to try it... http://rcdb.com/6453.htm But yeah, the spinning car on Blue Fire looks NUTS! I would love to try it.
rcjp
^I had no idea! The thing is as spinning coasters are usually more family orientated it'd be cool to see something bigger (like blue fire )
larrygator
I would have loved to be a test rider, looks great.
Nrthwnd
To me, it actually looks like a very cool vehicle concept, too.
cfc
While I'm looking forward to riding Blue Fire, I's not sure I'd want to spin while doing it. Looks pretty cool, though.
SharkTums
Perhaps we will see something like spinning Blue Fire at Walibi Holland!!?!?
PixelRush
I love that concept... it's like a fair ride where you go every which direction... BUT ON A FRICKIN' COASTER Though it's hard to imagine a full line of them like that
COASTER FREAK 11
It seems though, that the test was not free spinning; but more similar to Euro Mir. So, I think it would be a lot more enjoyable then some of you might be thinking.
Projektion
When I saw the image with the spinning car on Blue Fire, the first thing I thought was how painful the roll at the end of the ride could be if the car was facing the wrong direction. TyRush
That is insane! It seems like it would make it so much more fun. I wonder if they would build a full train with these or just stick one on the back?
FaithPlus1
WOW!!! Looks freakin awesome! So jealous of the test riders.
MagicMountainMan
I am just imagining that inline twist at the end while spinning, it was crazy even when it didn't spin!
Keetz
I've totally thought "hey what if there was a looping spinning coaster, that would be absolutely insane" but the realist in me said, that would probably just never work. Now here we have a prototype and it looks freaking incredible. I also like how this train give the option to ride Blue Fire "traditionally" which already looks awesome, but also a way to ride on insane mode. Really curious to see where Mack takes this!
