RCTfan
We all watched Illuminations together! Well, I was there, but between Mexico and Norway watching it with some family! I wish I could've taken part in the silliness, alas work has me captured. Of course, you guys didn't visit Foulfellow or Tigger at MK. Hateful. Thats my favoritest Poppins of all. goliathfan
Is that safe to have that many people on one log on Splash Mountain? Even Big Thunder? Yes. Both Splash and Thunder allow three riders per row. --Robb Wow those pics are awesome! Especially the fire one! What a scene! BTW not to spam this thread but I sent you a pm.. I'd love it if you reply bacl
Movieguy
Ohhhh man, great photos. Great TR alltogether. I still remember my trip last summer to WDW, and now I'm gonna have to visit again, with Everest open now. I would give anything to meet all of you guys at one of these parks, even if it was just for one day. You all seem like such awesome, and fun people to be around, from what I see of your photos and videos anyway.

USRoadTripper
So I'm back home after my awesome weekend It was just what I needed though...a few days to just get away and have fun! But I am so sore...OMG it will take my calves a week to get over all the walking I did! Well here are my pics! I am only posting unique ones that others haven't posted yet. -Julie Everyone shares in an Elissa friendly snack, including Kevin. Derek goes for a tasty dung ball snack in the Tough to be a Bug queue. I think this photo fills the quota for "WTF is up with Robb's forehead???" pics for this trip. Dave and Erik have a good time on Triceratops Spin. After the ride, both Kevin and Elissa agree that these rides spin way too much! Kevin is VERY excited to be riding Primeval Whirl! Next, it was off to Primeval Whirl so a few people could get their credits (only the right side was open, so it was only one credit for Tom!) After the ride, Joe encounters some odd merchandise in the gift shop, and is quick to point out that yes, the ride *is* made by Vekoma! It's Erik! Erik appears to love Everest. A group shot in the Everest queue. Most of us were still creditless at this point! The next morning, we were all wide awake and ready to conquer Everest. Let the antics begin! Beforehand, I decided to take Soren a little "welcome to the States" gift, so what's better that White Castles? Boy's gotta have some good, healthy American food right? USRoadTripper
More pics To end out the night, I got a ride on Haunted Mansion with two hot pieces of man meat. I think Soren has a better version of this pic! This is the best pic I have seen thus far of the ultra crazy Big Thunder ride! We all got a good laugh out of the fact that Sorens first US coaster credit was Goofy's Barnstormer! Soren is very pleased to meet Kevin. He also attempted to do the coconut race, but what denied since all the coconuts were already taken. Then he went all Incredible Hulk on his broom. This was my view while Robb was learning to hula. Sexy? You be the judge. Then it was off to dinner at Ohana, where Robb took the opportunity to get leid and learn the hula. We all split up for a while before dinner, so a group of us went to Magic Kingdom. Erik and Derek got Dole Whips, which were awesome until Dereks brain nearly exploded because of it. I have no clue what the hell this hat is supposed to be, but Kevin loved it! Here, I told the guys to look like macho men and I was gonna take their picture. Hmm...well, thanks for at least giving it your best try! Maybe we will try again later! Everyone riding Tower of Terror (except me!) Robb also takes a moment to play with his man boobs. Robb gives Kevin a close encounter of the Beaker kind in the Tower of Terror queue. Once we were all done, we packed up and headed over to Disney/MGM Studios. dandaman
Ha. Crazy times down there. Unfortunately (?), I just know what I'll be doing the next trip to WDW. "Look! Mr. Volcano
Great Photos and Trip Reports! I really wish I could have gone, maybe next time though! Anyways, it looks like you guys had an amazing time, (not hard in Orlando is it?) Glad to see you liked Everest, its a really cool ride, and smooth for a Vekoma.. at least for now it is anyways. Well glad to see you guys had a great time and a safe trip home! -Justin "I'm all ready for HHN 06'"
robbalvey
Today was BGT for us. (Or BGA as some people might now call it.) We had a GREAT day, but it was also kind of despressing that we saw a better run park today than we did at IOA on Sunday. Anyway, we're at the airport on our way home, so here's a few pics for you..... $10 for one onride video makes Theme Park Review's DVDs a STEAL!!! "WHY THE HELL DID YOU MAKE ME RIDE THAT?!?!?" So, Gwazi....um....really sucked! Tom, welcome to a TRUE "American sized meal!" "Hey Wally, how's it going?" And we thought the Schwarzkopf's made people crazy? "Robb" Stacey's in the front thinking "please keep the crazy guys away from me!" There is something about the Schwarzkopf's that turn normal boys into insane creatures of random death! Awww....look at the little credit whores. Don't you just want to reach out and pet them? Kumba after 13 years is STILL really awesome! And nice and pretty looking thanks to a new paint job too! "Tom, this is NOT going to hurt! This is the B&M not the Arrow!" "I'll have a double serving of vertical drops with a splashdown chaser, please." Everyone's ready for some back seat Shakira action. Shakira - Still pretty awesome.
ShadowLink79
I was at BGT today, too! I saw you on Sheikra and Gwazi. I meant to say "Hi!" but you were on the ride and I was off the ride; or you were off and I was on. If you remember, when you waved to the crowd when you were departing for Sheikra, I was the kid with the green shirt waving at you! Anyways, it looks like you had fun, nice photo trip report, and I will be opening my own Photo TR of BGT soon!
Erik Johnson
Yeah I figured that the operations were going to be better at BGT(A?) than they were at IOA. IOA's operations certainly has been very inconsistent these past 6 months. Its no excuse to have both Spiderman and Flying Unicorn still closed a half hour after the park has been open. I sure hope Tom was able to survive both Gwazi credits. Yeah Julie, for some reason I am still recovering from this past weekend. Thanks for posting those other pictures!! cfc
Just got back from an awesome, AWESOME day at Epcot!!! I don't understand why we love Epcot so much! All things being equal we should HATE that park - it has no coaster credit, it's got tons of dark rides, etc.... But it's seriously out favorite WDW park and probably one of our favorite parks in the world. There's just something about it where it's one of the few parks we could spend an ENTIRE day from opening to close, having ridden not a single coaster, and still have an amazing time. I know what you mean. Perhaps it's the atmosphere of the place, the overwhelming hope it shows for humanity. Maybe it's the awe inspired by Spaceship Earth combined with the whimsy of the Imagination pavilion. Or it could be the power of Illuminations to inspire us to be something greater than ourselves. I know--it's the smooth, rich taste of ice-cold Beverley. Oh, yeah . . .
yesac519
Ive herd about this onride video thing. Does it turn out good? Can anyone post a onride video that they sell at the parks for me? Thanks Casey | yesaC
Slacking
I was at BGT for a bit today too. Really just walked around the park while wasting free time I had in between my two jobs. But, I've been impressed by BGT's park operations the last few times I have visited. I definitely noticed how efficient everything was in November, and have been impressed ever since. BGT is going a very good job with park operations. I wish I could say the same about IOA/USF the alst few times I've visited them.
Coaster Palooza
^^Gyendolynne and I bought our DVD when we went to BGT. It is a good video and they slow mo you through the ride. Montu_Man_1011
Look who I found riding my coaster today! I was in panel around the time that pic was taken. I think it was your first ride of the day because we had just opened. Just incase you can't see that. Are you guys going again tomorrow? I'll be there.... All day. Mr. Volcano
Wow BGT is alot of fun now. I think over the last few years they've improved it with all the recent changes (the new gate, painting of alot of buildings, some of the staff seems better, parks cleaner and better landscaping, new thrill ride, etc.. etc..) If I may ask though whats BGA stand for?? Busch Gardens Adventure..? Hmm.. Looks like alot of fun, great update! -Justin
