derwood
Calling it the six flags of Norway might have been a bit harsh on my side, and yes every other park on that trip was outstanding, this was the one that was a bit of a let down. I think it was the loading of the Vekoma ( over 15 mins ) to dispatch the train. And then getting to ride twice because the Op couldn't stop the train in the correct spot. Tusenfryd was a great park but it was definitely being run different from my 2006 visit. Hanno...love the photos! Can't wait to see the rest. daron
DerekRx
TusenFryd on a bad day is still better than the best Six Flags park on a good day. (And I think the soda is still cheaper in Norway with its crazy exchange rate and high cost of living than at a SF park).
Nrthwnd
I rescind my agreement on the "Six Flags" comparison. But, it's still being worked out, in my head. For whether it's a repeat visit or not, for myself. Stay tuned.
CaryB
Small complaint from me I couldn't pronounce Tusenfryd. I tried "toos-en-freud" (like Sigmund Freud) I tried "toos-en-fred" and I tried "toos-en-fried" I was riding roller coasters in Norway OMG, not just that ERT in the morning and evening(WOW). Thank You Tusenfryd
Nrthwnd
^ Heh heh. Try this one... Too-sen-freed That should do it. What I found out.
BCTom
The fact we visited on a Saturday may have influenced opinions to some degree as well. After five days of non-existent weekday crowds, it was a bit jarring to have to, *gasp*, wait in lines for attractions!
Hhappy
The second day of my visit we spent the day at Liseberg. Home to Balder, Kanonen en Helix. It was fun seeing and hearing everybody's reaction to Helix after having been able to ride it myself earlier this year (for opening) And Balder.. own my.. still such an awesome ride. I do like this park and look forward to a future visit. it's a beautiful morning true hammer time let's ride going down the first drop surprise surprise (I guess) airtime hands up if you have a great time so many things I could say... time to check out the rest of the park sweet more green (trees etc) around the ride provides some new angles big inversion lots and lots of steel but there's more Kanonen and then there's Balder next door.. hmmm Kanonen... Balder... yeah, hard to beat (for me) such awesome hairtime time for a few more Helix images final inversion flexible train and wheels moving in the correct direction more hairtime what's up kiddo? Balder train going up the lifthill is it shock? is it joy?? it's Helix more happy riders ehmm?? Just in case you were wondering what park we are at second launch first drop out of the station surprise more awesome hair air, hair, wheel time lovely front of the train viewing window of the drop thingy part of the queue area for Helix the music would get stuck in your mind.. so many angles and directions to look at first inversion fun fear and joy extreme hair I did not mind spending some time and relax in this area bit more Kanonen?? sure classic park ride = logflume at the top of the big drop so many possible captions.. Kanonen station area control area launch time to relax a bit more and then this happened pretty darn good job with the make up (and blood) looks like it's haunted owh crap thanks for having us it's such an awesome park dance area Finishing of the day on Balder
Barge84
Easily my favorite day of the trip. Liseberg is one of my favorite parks in the world, now. The only "bad" part of the day was choosing between Balder and Helix during the nighttime ERT!

DenDen
I always love Hanno's photography, I have the same style in my line of work as a photojournalist and artist, always catching the real action, not the expected or posed. Thanks for sharing the pictures, I always enjoy them and learn from them.

cfc
Can we do Liseberg as an add-on for the Mini East Coast Trip? Chuck, you're a genius! Merely repeating an old suggestion that all TPR Trips should come with a Liseberg Add-on.
ozziboy
Amazing photos again, Hanno. I also rank that day at Liseberg as my highlight of the whole Scandi trip! Until I saw your pictures of the Helix queue line, I'd forgotten about that hilarious "TPR queue takeover" where we had the soundtrack pounding and everyone synchronized their walk pace along every segment of that mind-bending queue structure in time with the beats. The park was open by that stage, and the locals couldn't figure out what was going on!
Nyteowl
Great shots Hanno, always a huge fan of your photos . I miss Liseberg and Pontus, such a great day of the tour.
deguy123
Amazing pictures and one of the best parks of the trip! The ERT on both coasters was amazing! Wow Steve and Priscilla's hair shows how much airtime was on that coaster!
