Every single time I look at a trip report from Disney Sea I found a new attraction of some sort that I had no idea existed and this show has filled that void. Thanks for giving me another reason to go!

^ That's why I love repeating the visits to this particular resort,
and especially Disney Sea. After the attractions, there is all
this atmosphere to enjoy...and no Fast Passes needed, lol!

I got to do that, a lot on this visit, through David's eyes as a
first-timer, and myself looking for new stuff to enjoy.

And I still haven't gone onto and explored that
(*%^# GI-nornous ship docked right beside the American
Waterfront! And then there's Magellan's Fortress and all
that's in there...

Next visits...

~ After the MR show - and back to the hotel ~

So after we saw this great live show, we just meandered back and forth
through the park, got on a couple of attractions we wanted to re-ride...and then,
eventually, picking up valued Fast Passes for attractions after we
came back to the park, after our couple of hours' break at the hotel room.
Resize of IMG_2836.JPG
So after "Mystic Rhythms" is over, it's just natural to explore around the Lost River Delta.
Resize of IMG_2837.JPG
Trekking back through Port Discovery, I got a day time shot of the outside of the Storm Riders attraction. It's quite the use of a "mass simulator", honest!
Resize of IMG_2838.JPG
And the wing-ding itself, gets my attention. I love the "airiness" of PD. Harnessing water and wind. Very cool.
Resize of IMG_2839.JPG
A Disney Sea Dude. One legged too! :P
Resize of IMG_2840.JPG
So one last look, for now....

The Globe with The Themeing...
Resize of IMG_2842.JPG
It's a BFF KIMONO Con! Really,so many colours & patterns squished together, lol.
Resize of IMG_0886.JPG
On the monorail back to the hotel, we passed by this lovely sculpture...
Resize of IMG_2888.JPG
Which is opposite where the amazing CIRQUE DE SOLEIL show, ZED happened. Sadly, it only lasted less than two years. The bldg.is empty now<sad>. (I saw the production in 2011)
ZedTDLcirquedesoleil.jpg
The soundtrack is still amazing. Worth finding and buying.
Resize of IMG_2843.JPG
Back to where our tour began - the Room 653 View. And the parking lot IS filling up. Eep.
Resize of IMG_2844.JPG
But we come back with future treasures, ARRRRRR! (Too early for "Talk like A Pirate Day"?)
Resize of IMG_0889.JPG
After a while, I sent David down to the lobby level to check out a wonderful Disney Artists' Gallery. This was in one of it's windows. (DbM)

Back from The Hotel Break - To TDS At Night

Some parks look even more fantastic at night. Even carnival type set ups,
like my little home park of Playland (asphalt and all), when the sun goes
down and the lights come on - its just awesome to see.

Tokyo DIsney Sea just ups the beauty of the themeing when the sun goes
down, and it's lighting comes on. We went back to a fave dinner spot, for
more of the same, lol.

We also found out the showing of Fantasmic! that night would be "altered"
and be a "toned down version" of itself. Meaning = winds were up,
and the fireworks would be down. So we took a chance, skipped this night's
showing, and hoped the weather would be better for tomorrow night.

Back to the ball... er, The World Globe at TDS' entrance plaza.

I see you, Mr.Nautilus, through the archway and at your little dock, inside Mysterious Island.

And we took another 'tour' of Hightower Hotel, of course. (DbM)
Resize of IMG_2854.JPG
Another discovery! I totally forgot about this magnificent statue, behind the Broadway theatre marquee. Very nice.
Resize of IMG_2853.JPG
Yeah, we loved it. So much so, I believe we took two more "tours". A total of ....7 times?
Resize of IMG_2855.JPG
Yay! Our travelator deep within the mountain's center is #3! I like 3's. The ride's not too bad, either. (o;
Resize of IMG_2856.JPG
Getting dark now. Indiana Jones' temple looks nice in this darkness.
Resize of IMG_2858.JPG
And we head back to the Arabian Coast, for more of....

Beef Curry! With Extra Naan! We were blissed out with this awesome food.

Here's a video I took from the exit platform, of Raging Spirits in TDS, on Day 3
at the Resort. Not too fancy, but am still learning my camera 'filming skills,' lol.

Amazing how slow the train goes through the actual loop of the coaster.

And here's the other video I took on Day 3of our Tokyo
Disney Resort visit. In Disney Sea at night.

Jasmine's Flying Carpets is certainly nothing exciting or
innovative when it comes to a Dumbo-like attraction.

But the setting was wonderful, and there eve a viewing
balcony, in back of the ride, for overhead shots and videos.

Like this video. Dark, and LOT of Blue, but still pretty
to watch in operation.

Final Day (4) at TDLR ... Star Tours at TDL

This last day at the resort, and the tour for us, David and I decided to meet up later on in the day, at our "usual spot", that being near the gift shop in Mysterious Island at TDS. So I took off in the early morning, to finally experience what the Star Tours 2 attraction is all about. It was down for maintenance, last TPR visit, so I knew i wanted to get at least one ride in, on this visit...

It's quite the setup at Tokyo Disneyland. A massive show building with lots to see and pass by, before you finally reach your transport to...? I forgot where we were going, lol. It was a good exciting ride, but honestly, there are a couple of things I really really missed from the old ride...

Pee Wee Herman's voice as our guide.
The ice caverns we rocketed into and through.

So, I did a ride on it, it was alright, and I don't need a re-ride again.
Even with changing scenarios, etc etc.

My breakfast, for the morning.

The Jeff Johnson Special.

This is where I was heading.
Resize of IMG_2896.JPG
Lots of nice themeing around me.
Resize of IMG_2897.JPG
And this is The Crowd below all The Themeing. But it was an easy walk-in, when I arrived there.
Resize of IMG_2900.JPG
We're riding one of these, still. Good old transport vehicles.
Resize of IMG_2901.JPG
Like I said, I sort of forgot where we were heading on this voyage.

Getting closer to the boarding docks.
Resize of IMG_2912.JPG
We're here! Ready to board and get to wherever we're going, lol!
Resize of IMG_2913.JPG
After the ride - the exit path guides you into an overpass. And I got to see how the crowd going in, was now MUCH BIGGER than when I first arrived. It pays to get up early, for a Disney park. (o:

Day 4 at TDLR... Hopping from TDL to TDS.

So after Star Tours 2 was ridden, I took a look at the Standby Queue time for
Monsters Hide and Go Seek (2 hours?!!), and decided that was enough and
headed over to Disney Sea.

Toured around the park, took in some quiet spots I hadn't seen before, like
around the lighthouse overseeing the Cape Cod area of American Waterfront,
and a walk through of Mermaid Lagoon, checking out the Calypso Kitchen for
a possible lunch break, with David.

And on through the late morning, before meeting up with David in the afternoon...
Resize of IMG_2914.JPG
So after leaving Star Tours 2, I took a shot of the crowds queueing for the Monster's Inc. ride. Eek.
Resize of IMG_2915.JPG
Eek indeed. And this was just after 0930 in the morning! I didn't bother hanging around for a re-ride. Next visit.
Resize of IMG_2916.JPG
A last look at the castle before leaving the park.
Resize of IMG_2917_1.JPG
Note to theme park CD buyers! This was The Place in TDL, to find practically every CD available, in BOTH parks!
Resize of IMG_2918.JPG
The monorail from TDL, to TDS goes around this upper corner of the park, which is basically being used for growing trees and shrubbery. But - it's a big space, eventually getting something put there. Hope I'm around when it happens, heh heh.
Resize of IMG_2947.JPG
Here's how that spot looks like, from the inside of the park, between Port Discovery and the Lost River Delta. I think is is going on my Bucket List: Going on whatever they eventually plan for this area. (o: Here's hoping...
Resize of IMG_2923.JPG
So, back inside where I am happy the most.
Resize of IMG_2921.JPG
One of these future visits, I would like to just tour around the ship.
Resize of IMG_2924.JPG
Looks so natural. Cape Cod with an active volcano behind it, LOL!

BFF - if you can see them in that colourful Kimono Mash-up, heh.
Resize of IMG_2928.JPG
Looking over to the Arabian Coast, in the park. Really amazing that Tokyo Disneyland sits (literally) right behind this section of TDS
Resize of IMG_2931.JPG
And here's my walk though Mermaid Lagoon, with the spinning Kelp Cups in front.

Resize of IMG_2938.JPG
The Jumpin' Jellyfish ride.
Resize of IMG_2939.JPG
Resize of IMG_2940.JPG
Resize of IMG_2941.JPG
Yeah, I rode the Jumpin'Jellyfish. Got a couple of overhead (ha) shots.
Resize of IMG_2942.JPG
Just love all the lighting and themeing of this 'land'. Nothing like it.
Resize of IMG_2946.JPG
And of course, souvenir browsing/buying in the Sleepy Whale Shoppe.

Really enjoyed reading your reports of the last few days at TDR. It's such an amazing place and DisneySea is just spectacular. Next time definitely explore the Columbia. We went on and there is T Roosevelt's Lounge and looking off the ship from the decks is really cool.

It's nice to see all the little details around the parks that you saw and shared with us all.

Thanks again Bill

^ Thanks Neil, you're welcome!

After strolling through Mermaid Lagoon, I took a ride on the Transit Steamer boat, full circle ride from the dock in Cape Cod, and took a few "from the water" shots during the trip. I then took myself to Pier 33 for a breather and a beverage concoction most interesting,.."The Orange Cocktail". Basically it was just beer and an orange flavouring, but for myself, very quenching during the start of the afternoon there.

After the cocktail break, I met up with David for the rest of our day there.

Mickey and me seem to disagree, as to who should be at the steering wheel. The Mouse won, of course.

On the Steamer boat, there was this Really Into It Duffy Fan. He spent a lot of time, during the sailing, posing and snapping pic after pic of the lovely....uh.... couple. The dock crew member seems amused by it.
