If there is concern for the tower's falling path, perhaps it won't fall to the side. The entire ride could be rigged to collapse straight downward from implosion.

Falling over would arguably be more exciting, though. We'll just have to see.

It would have to fall towards the abandoned shopping area. There may be enough room if they've finished removing Flashback. On the other hand, the old bumper car building is still there. It's possible the building may be hit by a falling Chute Out tower. But they're demolishing it anyway so it may not matter.

If it falls directly onto the former footprint of Flashback, there is more than enough room. About 340 feet from the base of the ride to the perimeter fence. The ride is 200 feet tall.

Most likely they will crash it on Flashbacks former pad. But they should go ahead and let it fall into the Strip Mall too start Demolishing of it. :b

With the ride only being 200 ft tall it won't be capable of landing on the bumper cars or shopping center. They are much too far away. All the details of the event are here. http://www.kvue.com/news/state/173484291.html
So Arrow was the bomb. I said that out loud

From this picture you can see that there is plenty of room for the Texas Chute to fall.

The Texas Chute Out is officially no more.

The iconic parachute ride at Six Flags Over Texas, which had its last hurrah on Labor Day weekend, was imploded today to make way for the world's tallest swing ride, the Texas SkyScreamer.

Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, the Chute Out was toppled by the Dallas Demolition Company. The 200-foot-tall ride, which opened in 1976, has seen more than 29 million riders through the years.

The new SkyScreamer will be twice the height of the Chute Out, towering 400 feet above the ground, and will hold 24 riders at a time. Riders will be able to see downtown Dallas on a clear day, Six Flags executives told reporters in August.

And down she goes! Not sure if this can be embedded but here's the link:

Not as epic as Space Spirals' but still pretty neat! At least we now know Flashback/Boomerang is now gone.
