Photo TR: Hanno joins the TPR Halloween Adventure (2011)

Was hoping you were going to post the group shot of everyone that morning before the bash started. How did it turn out?

 

Picture turned out fine, had to make a selection of pictures to post of that day.. and skipped that one..

Ok no worries. Hope it eventually gets posted somewhere though as I'd like to see it (proof I finally attended a TPR event).

Time for some more images from this Halloween trip.

 

In no particular order: Disney's Epcot, Animal Kingdom and the Studios and as an added bonus some from IOA.

 

Not that many new images (for me) as i've been to these parks a few times.. and basically.. not much has changed (to me). Taking the same pictures over and over again is.. ehm well you get the idea..

Next would be LegoLand and maybe i'll add some cruise (flowrider) related stuff after that.. maybe..

2 seats open on the front row of any coaster should be considered a crime against humanity.

I like the R&R Coaster pic in particular. I was struck by how creepy the Gene Kelly animatroic looked in the Great Movie Ride this year--its face would be the scariest Halloween mask ever.

Legoland Florida

 

Chuck already did an awesome report on Legoland Florida.

So here's a quick one from me.

 

After visiting Legoland in Denmark and Germany this was my third park to visit. I was very pleasantly surprised by the park and (most of the) staff.

Got to see some awesome things and i do hope the park keeps it up like that.

As usual, you've captured a number of details I missed completely--love the faces of the people on the coasters. Where was that waterfall with the Lego deer?

^ i'm not 100% sure.. i believe it was next to the lake (or walkway between pirate show and rest of the park along the water) but looking through the order of images.. i might be wrong...

I think you are correct. If you are walking from the Pirate Show to the front of the park the waterfall is on your left.

As usual, wonderful photos, Hanno! The expressions on some of the people on the coasters ranged from pure joy to downright hilarious (like the kid on the wild mouse).

 

I seriously can't want to check this park out for myself soon.

Great update! I would love the opportunity to visit one of these parks.

After all the Halloween fun it was time to relax a bit and do a Cruise.

After last years birthday cruise i was really looking forward to another cruise. After this one i think i can say that i'm hooked.

 

I really like doing a cruise

Labadee

 

Home to the most awesome zipline i've done so far, the coaster was fun and the jetski excursion was fun as well. It's always fun to play around on the water.

 

Thanks to Robb for taking some pictures with my camera (while i was doing the zipline and jetski fun)

Labadee is a fantastic cruise port. It keeps getting better and better each time we go. First time we were there, the dock didn't exist, the alpine coaster wasn't there, and they didn't have as many attractions or beach areas as they have now.

 

Many other cruise line-owned ports are pretty much just a "beach", and I'm happy that Labadee offers so much more because I'm not as much of a "beach person" as I am taking advantage of some of the other adventure-type excursions they do there.

Another update

 

After seeing all the pictures in other (trip) updates i was really looking forward to this moment..

 

Flowrider time

 

I took some pictures of the first group and then handed my camera to Dan (thank you for taking those pictures) so i could join the second group. This was a lot of fun and i'm looking forward to the next time i can try this

Just shows what the right camera can do when placed in the right hands--great shots! All mine were crappy and blurry (wrong camera in the wrong hands ).

Awesome photos! I'd swear I was hearing the rush of water as I was looking at these pictures. Oh wait! That's the dishwasher.
