The Angry Darren Mullins
I was online a couple of days ago and found mention of something called Jindouwan Resort Villas in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. This afternoon, I ventured out to find out more about this park as a website showed photos of two spinning coasters. There is a spinning coaster with an oval layout. It is like the one that used to be at Amazing World in Dongguan. I rode this and found the ride to be extremely short as the ride op only sent me around twice. The second coaster is a spinning mouse. It is called Self Swing Glider on a sign by the entrance. A sign above the entrance has Spinning Coaster on it. Whatever the name is, I have ridden about 20 of these things. Jindouwan Resort Villas is a very nice park that has several rides, a zoo and a lake. I am not sure of why it is called a resort. There are no motels here. It is an urban amusement park and a very busy one at that. I have now discovered 63 coasters that were not previously on any coaster census. I hope I find at least 100. I have arrived at Jindouwan Resort Villas. Here is Jindouwan's carousel. The park had this small wheel called Skyscraping Ferris Wheel. This is the Holy Haunted House. This sounds like an oxymoron. This ride, whatever it is, was closed today. Jindouwan has this barrel roll thing. Here is a spinning coaster. It is time to ride the Self Swing Glider. Here is a shot of Jindouwan's biggest coaster. This building was in the center of the park. The bumper cars are a lot of fun. Jindouwan had this mini Rockin' Tug ride. Here are some boats on Jindouwan's lake to finish up this trip report. chadster
Very nice, it's amazing how in China they just plop an amusement park down on very street corner, so to speak. Thanks for sharing!
A.J.
WARNING! NERDY FLASHBACK ALERT! That barrel roll ride reminds me of the hamster wheel from Family Double Dare.
