All the official information in one post:

http://www.carowinds.com/public/park/rides/thrill_rides/windseeker.cfm

WindSeeker will send riders soaring 301 feet above the park at over 30 miles per hour and provide dramatic views of the greater Charlotte region.

WindSeeker’s three minute ride begins when the ride’s carriage, featuring 32 two passenger swings, slowly rotates while climbing to the top of a 301-foot tower. Riders will experience a sense of weightlessness as the swings reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour and the arms extend outward at a 45-degree angle.

I'm still very surprised they aren't calling it "CaroWindSeeker." Seems like a no-brainer. ;)
"The Internet? Is that thing still around?"

I was kinda hoping for a different color scheme...this thing should have a cool effect on the atmosphere of the park at night. I didn't know these things had on-board audio.

This should add very well to carowinds' selection of flats as that seems to be the one thing that the park is really lacking based on my visit that I made about 3 weeks ago....the atmosphere & themeing of that particular area is already very good so this will provide a great way for peeps to really take it all in.

I was hoping they would put this in the North Carolina part of the park (By Hurler) as they really need to draw people over there. That's a minor complaint though... as predictable as this was I'm still excited to ride it.

^I wondered that too...Still, I think maybe the height has alot to do with it. I'm no designer so i can't really say.
