Freizeitpark Ruhpolding is to open a Gerstlauer family shuttle coaster.

This is one beautiful looking coaster in my opnion.

I don't know what it is with me and small coaster projects, but i'm seriously in love with this one, i mean look at it!

It's actually a terrain coaster.

‘Gipfel-Stürmer’ is German for summiteer.

Specs:

Height: 12 m

Length: 170 m

^^ That looks (and runs) very cool!

Neat close-to-ground layout and

great-looking with the forest nearby.

My park could use one of these, lolol!

I wish other parks would put the same care into their ride videos. That video is beautiful. You really get a feeling for how proud they are to have built this.

The coaster looks great too! For such a small family ride, it looks like it packs a pretty nice punch. It seems like a fun coaster that will please a lot of age groups.

Nice video... lots of care in little production details (smooth tracking, dolly shots, etc... oh, and the German/Bavarian mountain hats, hah)! Thanks for posting... and as others have mentioned, family coasters like these would work well at a number of parks in the US (Knoebels, HW, Lake Compounce, Hershey, DW, SDC, Lake Winnie, Waldameer, Enchanted Forest, KW, Camden, Beech Bend, and more!). Imagine a longer layout, with a launch somewhere in the middle for consistent pacing (... not too much longer though, to avoid suffering the que).
