Photo TR: Fantasilandia

Postby coasterschile » Mon Jul 07, 2014 5:16 pm

So, I went on Saturday to Fantasilandia with 3 friends. We had alot of fun

The weather was really bipolar, it was cold, then sunny, then cloudy, and sunny afterall. It's winter here so the entire day was cold, but in some point it became warm.

The park was surprisingly empty, although it was saturday, and winter holidays are almost here. So we rode all the rides, without any problems :p

I think you're forgetting that Chile is in the Southern Hemisphere. ;)

OP is from Chile (Southern Hemisphere), seasons are flipped down there. Hence why we see a huge increase in numbers of Brazilian Tour Groups during the summer months here in the North(ern Hemisphere)

Here's the entrance of the park. I didnt took a photo when I went so I used this old one I had
2.png
First ride of the day, Disk'O!
3.png
4.png
This was the next ride, called Crazy Dance.
5.png
Although it seems boring, its a really fun ride, especially when all the lights are turned on
6.png
WARNING: you may find creepy faces on this ride
8.png
Then we got on Piratas Del Caribe (the chilean knockoff of the pirates of the caribbean)
9.png
I took some photos inside the ride. At least it's a pretty relaxing ride
10.png
This was the "super-duper-special-effects-scene" of the ride, lol
11.png
Here's the outside part
12.png
13.png
Hello there
14.png
TAKE THE TUNNEL!!!
15.png
The day got cloudy
16.png
Top Spin
17.png
I love this ride...
191.png
...maybe because of the theming
18.png
Unfortunately, the water isn't soaking people now
20.png
Then we got on the Wild Mouse
21.png
Oh, hello SLC
22.png
Weeee!
23.png
Then we got something to eat. Food was average, it wasn't very good, but it wasn't that bad too. At least its something
241.png
Then we got to "Casa Fantasma"
25.png
The cars for this dark ride, for some reason, have laser guns in the front
27.png
You can see the laser guns (sorry for the blurry photo)
261.png
Inside "Casa Fantasma"
28.png
Then we got to the Boomerang
29.png
Loop-de-Loop!
30.png
This is the oldest coaster from the park, since the Galaxy was removed last year
31.png
Rapid River, the waterslide that was manufactured here
321.png
This type of ride it's pretty hard to find now (photo taken from google)
33.png
You can see the pirate ship from here
34.png
This is Tsunami, an Intamin Shoot-the-Chute. I still don't know why people ride this on winter...
35.png
ssqlooosh!
36.png
The park wasn't busy at all. It was a great day
37.png
Ikarus, the Huss Condor of the park , opened in 2012
38.png
Volare
39.png
We didn't knew what they were doing to the Kamikaze
411.png
I think they're just remodeling it
41.png
Then clowns suddenly appeared, and started to play with people
42.png
kids started to enjoy, well, older people also were enjoying
411.png
We got on the Black Hole. Fun ride
45.png
"Extreme Fall", a 35 metres high drop tower. This is the same as Detonator - Thorpe Park
46.png
Going up on the drop tower
47.png
48.png
Raptor view
49.png
Boomerang view
50.png
511.png
Evolution
52.png
It's like a frisbee ride, but much slower
531.png
This ride is totally awesome at night
54.png
Air Race!
55.png
Tagada! Love this ride
56.png
561.png
58.png
We rode the SLC at the end of the day. It was freezing, I still don't know why I rode it while barefoot, in front row
59.png
Is not that rough, though. But you have to be tolerant with SLC's to ride this one

Thanks for watching this photo trip report! I hope you liked it

Ahhhhhhhhh, Chile. I read the title as Fiabilandia in Italy. My bad. I'm aware of the flipped seasons.
