gerstlaueringvar
Firstly, I would have written CP when I rearlized CP is Cedar Point... So I would write the full park name. We(Adrian, Jimmy, Thomas, Sherlock, SZH and me) had a trip to Chimelong Paradise on our Labor Day Holiday for the roller coasters. The weather is really great in the morning that most costers are running not so rough, even the Intamin Multi Inversion(Isn't the name of '10 Inversion Coaster' silly?) let me survived a Vekoma SLC feeling! Half Pipe was closed for something wrong on the restraints that I found the track is similar to SEFK instead of the Nickelodeon Universe's Avatar Airbender. It started to rain in the afternoon and we had two rides in dive machine WITH MEDIUM RAIN! That was my first time to ride a coaster in the rain. Pretty rare for a Chinese park to operate rides in the rain. As the rain got heavier, they closed the roller coasters but the Huss Giant Frisbee is still operating. But I have to say, the rain drops hurt when you are at 70mph. We rode Dive Machine for 3-5 times, Intamin Multi Inversion Coaster and Vekoma Motorbike for one time because they were rough. For us credit whores, we rode Young Star Coaster for 4-5 times. I was hoping to ride Iron Rattler as this year's 1st coaster on Texas Midwest Trip and it was taken by Dive Machine. I didn't mean Dive Machine is not good, it is just not as awesome as the Mega-Lites(Personally prefer intense airtimes) maXair! Oh wait, Giant Frisbee... This one make some of us sick. BTW, I will not ride Huss Frisbees anymore, they made me feel really sick that I think spining ride is not the kind of ride that fit me. Others said it was a great ride with strong airtime. B&M fit-in seat. One of the best place to have a rest when the ride stop operating during a heavy rain. Thank god they finally have two train operation that we got on ride within 10 minutes. There are not that much people visiting the park now because they make no new coasters since 2008 (Young Star is not enough to attract enthusiasts.) Close to the ride! Station! We are going! Middle of the first row, SZH is not ready for the stronger airtime so we are all with him. Up we go! Hands up! It's wired that everyong hold on for their dear life... Loop-De-Loop! Take the tunnel!!! With the only little bit of theming. Nice little airtime towards the final helix. We're done! He was singing 'Scream And Shout'... Lift hill! REALLY NOICY!!!B&M, pleeeeeese learn from Mack or use cable lift like Intamin! HUSS!HUSS!HUSS!HUSS!HUSS! Chimelong Paradise really do not care about their coasters' names... coaster with 10 inversions-in Inversion Coaster; Coaster with a 90 degree drop-Dive Coaster; Motorbike themed launch-Motobike Coaster; Half Pipe and Young Star are named the same as their model's name...Speechless about them. Group photo! With one of the roughest Intamin in the world. Design porn... Seems like there is something wrong with the restraint, they tested with empty train on the heavy rain later... first time to see testing on the rain that they sent 4 empty trains to dry the trains off after the rain stopped :/ wired Nerd shot It would be 100 times better for this Intamin if they could change the restraint or even change the trains. This really feel like 10 Inversion Vekoma SLC... WHEELS! WHEELS! WHEELS! Just imagine how painful the corkscrew is. I prefer Arrow's corkscrews to this. Why they are so awesome on Fahrenheit but so rough on this? Half Pipe was doing some fixing while we were there. Finger crossed they will change the restraints. Their new attraction- Haunted House! Not scary at all compare with the USH one that scared the crap out of me...Just kidding. Adrian said the FujiQ's Haunted Hospital is the scariest haunted house ever. Nice theming with the owls Use a word to describe this photo, email me and get a park map! After riding Dive Maching in the rain Break shot of Young Star Thank you Chimelong Paradise for an amazing day! cfc
Nice to hear that Chimelong has added a haunted house walkthrough. It's a very nice park, but that was something it lacked.
larrygator
It's very nice to hear the opinions of someone living in the area. Thank you for the time consuming task of creating your PTR in English for us to read.
gerstlaueringvar
Going to Peral Land this afternoon! Ride my first coaster and find the memory of my childhood.
David H
Chimelong was a really nice park, despite the not very creative coaster names! Â And I agree that it's nice that the park added a haunted walkthrough. I was actually amazed at how many parks in China of all sizes had one or more of them. Â Thanks for posting this! I'm always interested to see what the locals think of the coasters around the world.
gerstlaueringvar
The Peral Land trip plan was canceled because of the heavy rain. Will probably hit up Misterious Island's awesome Intamin rocket coaster in a month.
australianalex
Nice TR, shame to hear 10 Inversion Coaster is rough. I was hoping there was an Intamin Multilooper out there that didn't suck as much as Colossus.

I was hoping there was an Intamin Multilooper out there that didn't suck as much as Colossus. Italy, China and Brazil are building Intamin multiloopers that have 10 inversions with cable lift and NO PRE DROP!!! the airtime would be awesome. I don't think they will use the colossus type of train with that kind of restraint. The Chinese one under construction
SharkTums
Didn't Pearl Land lose all of their coasters? Might not be the worst thing that you missed going there.
rctneil
I really liked Chimelong. It had a nice selection of coasters and I found 10 Inversion Coaster to be quite smooth overall compared to Colossus apart from a clink as the train exited the loop  Wasn't keen on Half Pipe though. I came off feeling rather ill after that. Maybe the difference of this one being outdoors made it rougher than the MoA one.
gerstlaueringvar
Didn't Pearl Land lose all of their coasters? Might not be the worst thing that you missed going there. WOW! Didn't know about that until just now. I was wondering why I couldn't see the corkscrew when we drive by. So sad to know. Pearl Land was the place where my coaster love got birth and it takes so much memories. Good to know the Children's coaster is still operating that it's my first coaster. My mom rode it with me when I was 3 or 4. They have some pretty good flat rides too. Anyway, taking the coasters down really gave me a shock. gerstlaueringvar
Anyone got any information about the Intamin 10 inversion coaster in Chongqin? All I know is that it use cable lift, it use SkyRush kind of restraint and the track is wider.
kailisun98
Dont know why I love Intamin hypers and mega-lites and especially SKYRUSH, but I absolutely hate its Zac-spins and multi-loopers. The Zac Spins and multi-loopers are sometimes even more painful than the Arrow Looper Ninja.

The Zac Spins and multi-loopers are sometimes even more painful than the Arrow Looper Ninja. ZacSpin is one of my favorite because it is forceful at parts. I really enjoyed Geeen Lantern First Flight. As far as the multi loopers, that is the problem of the restraint. I'm sure the new ones with lap bar would be a fret experience. BTW, I love SkyRush, too

Nrthwnd
10 Inversion > Colossus   Chimelong is one of the parks I really enjoyed, on the TPR China Tour last Sept. Definitely want to go back to that one, again.  Thank you for showing us, a great TR with you and your friends at the park.

gerstlaueringvar
Went to Misterious Island today and rode Sky Car for only two times because of the long line. Will post the TR next week. Gotta go back to school now. Sky Car ran really good today as it is nearly 105 degrees today
gerstlaueringvar
Sorry for the delay of the TR that I headed back school after the visit. So here it is! Mysterious Island is located at Zhuhai and has a pretty nice view of the ocean. It was an amazing day for coaster operation because it was 105 degrees! The sunshine was extreamely strong and I felt like I was being cooked! The main reason and probably the only reason I went there was for the Intamin launch coaster named Sky Car (Another easy-to-make-and-easy-to-understand name of the coaster .) The line got up to an hour due to the one train operation but since it was designed for one train operation, I had nothing to complain about. The ride ops were strange that they ask the riders to hold on the restraints It was pretty wired to put my hands up when every one held on for their dear lives. I heard a GP said that closing your eyes while riding coasters would feel better and I was like Dude, why are you riding it if you feel like it only scares you? The entrance of the park. see, not too much people! Nice theming The main reason why we were there This is Intamin! Never saw this thing operates I wanna touch it! Empty train, I think they should change it since it looks pretty old and the restraint wasn't very comfortable. Also, add another train! Or color it... That's cheaper The control panel is pretty "doesn't look like from Intamin but a Chinese knck-off company" The wheels on Sky Car go round and round, round and round, round and round. The wheels on Sky Car go round and round, go through the launch...speechlss LOOP! Chinese people(well, at least 95%+)think inversion is the most scary part of roller coasters. GP!!! Seriously this is the WORST coaster EVER!!!!! Had this credit back to 2007 and will never ride it again. Still remember how painful my shoulder was It gets a little rough in here Poor shark. Chinese Knock-Off Universal Studio Double tower. After riding Lex Luthor last summer, the S&S tower feels like nothing at all...Sorry, S&S but Intamin is a lot better. Wired theming, what is this for? Thank you Mysterious Island for an amazing day! I love Intamin! Hope there would be a new coaster in the future. SharkTums
^That's a bummer. We really liked this park on our 2008 visit, but it was quite empty and we had ERT on the Intamin!

How do you think about the Intamin launch coaster? I think that's petty great but still not as good as the Mega-Lite. Did you ride Screamin' Squirrel? How did you feel after that?
