Midgetman82
I made yet another trip to Atlanta, and while there I had to make another trip to Six Flags Over Georgia. This time around, I wasn't going for getting on as many rides as I could, I know I wouldn't be able to do that, so I just went om my favorite rides and one new ride! I didn't hit Dare Devil Dive first-thing because there were no nearby lockers. The nearest lockers were in the line of Goliath, which by the way was my first coaster of the day since the lockers were closer and Goliath had a shorter wait than Dare Devil Dive. The coaster still rocks and gives a few unsuspecting people grey-outs on the helix. It's still a little jagged on the bottom of a few drops, but I still love it! The second coaster I hit was Dare Devil Dive since my fluffy, fluffy bunny filled with... (well, you get the idea) lasted two hours. Being my first Gerstlauer coaster, it was amazing. It was fast, tight, smooth, and comfortable. It is a very fun coaster to ride and re-ride; in fact, I rode it twice that day. The first time I waited 1 hour, the second time the line shortened to a 30 minute wait. There is a serious air conditioning problem in Batman's queue line that needs to be fixed. With people cramming the windowless stairwell and loading area, it was HOT in there. Plus it was about 90+ degrees outside, so it felt more like an oven. With that said, Batman was still the B&M inverted coaster I knew, one that always leaves me disoriented after each ride; and that's one reason why I like it! I seriously think someone should pick up on making more Schwarzkopf rides like Mindbender. It is still a fun and intense coaster that I love to ride. I also always find it's line to be a walk-on whenever I go to Over Georgia. After Mindbender I rode Scorcher. I was surprised to see a less than 20 minute wait for front row and walk-on for every other row. As soon at I finished my front-row ride and walk all the way over to acrophobia, it started raining. I waited in an ice cream parlor near Acrophobia until the rain stopped. An hour later, the sky was on the verge of getting darker and the rain had slowed to near stopping, so I walked all the way to the back to wait for the rides to open. Even though rides haven't started yet, I found Superman's line stretching past the 30 minute sign, so I skipped it. I waited with a small group of people outside of Ninja's queue for it to open, and it did after they tested it's two trains multiple times. After my safe 3 near-nighttime re-rides on Ninja, I walked back to Acrophobia and re-rode that 4 times. There was my entire day! Here is my ride count: Goliath: 1 Dare Devil Dive: 2 Batman: 1 Mindbender: 1 Georgia Scorcher: 1 Ninja: 3 Acrophobia: 4 Below is HD off-ride daytime footage of Georgia Scorcher, Dare Devil Dive, Batman: The Ride, and Mindbender. There is also Nighttime footage of Ninja, Splashwater Falls, and Acrophobia. This coaster still rocks! Being my first Gerstlauer, this coaster rocked as well! If you're wondering where my Batman coaster photos went, I only took video of that coaster. "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!" Two operators sung this while operating it! Went back for a second ride since the line shortened to about 30 minutes. It doesn't stop here, it slows down. It's like a rocket! (Cell phone camera) Dark clouds start to loom overhead. (Cell Phone Camera) I didn't mind waiting less than 20 minutes for front row of Georgia Scorcher. Soon it was heavily raining and a lot of people went home. A LOT of people went home! After an hour, the rain stopped. Before rides could even test, there was a line for Superman. Pass. After passing Ninja, it started testing. Believe it or not, it's one of my favorite coasters at this park. It looks cool and scares me a little! That's why I like it! This guy's eyes stayed open for 19 years straight! I don't know if this is super important, but there was this train making rounds with nobody on it. The operators would only open the gates for the other train. Closer look. This train had a basic color scheme with no logo on it whatsoever. I was crazy enough to ride this coaster three times in a row, twice without getting off! This ride looked beautiful during this time. Soon lights were illuminated and the area was lit-up. The guy on the right looked bored. Bah, blurry.. I'll get this credit someday! I rode and re-rode this ride until the park closed... and until a certain area started hurting. It's still my absolute favorite ride in SFOG. Georgia Cyclone Again. This ride looked pretty at night. People making last minute rides on Goliath. And, that's it! I had a great day! Edited July 7, 2011 by Midgetman82

jynx242
The blue train on Ninja is from GASM at Six Flags Great Adventure. It rides really well.
PhantomNick
Nice TR! I have to say that SFOG is high on my list of parks I'd like to get to some day. It looks really nice there. Oh yeah, and the new Dare Devil Dive looks awesome as well.

Geauga Dog
Nice pics! Brought back many memories. I'm jealous you got to see the park at night. Looks great. Georgia Cyclone, as bad as it was, looks very nice all bathed in white lights (just like Mean Streak). There was no air conditioning in Batman's station/queue when I was there three weeks ago and people were leaving the line because of it. They did have some doors open to get some air in but it wasn't helping. I think this was the first time I couldn't wait to get off a ride due to how uncomfortably hot it was in there. The station was bad but the transfer area just outside the station while waiting for the train in front to dispatch was downright stifling.
