imawesome1124
Hello TPR, this is my first photo tr so please give me advice on how to make them better. East Coast Bash was my first TPR event and it was a blast! If you haven't been to a TPR event, you need to! That's all I am saying. I love King's Dominion and this was a great way to spend a day there. I had more photos but used up all my camera's memory so I had to delete some photos, including some of the quest game . On to the photos I do have though. Here we are at East Coast Bash! World's biggest loop, THROUGH THE TREES!! Double Points! Artsy shot! It didn't seem to lose any speed through the cobra roll! Interlocking Corky Screws! I like the station of Dominator, has kind of a rustic look to it. We should have done ERT on this! Seeing this in person made me have second thoughts about riding. I did it, and I'm glad I did. The lift is very steep and scary fast. These twisties are the most intense moments I have ever experienced on any coaster! Ever! Of all time! After 3 or 4 rides on I305 we went up in the ferris wheel to take pictures. Here's one of the evil Togo Death Machine. I was surprised at how well Grizzly ran during morning ERT. Must have been the Grizzly Juice that Robb ordered. Volcano is still awesome, but I prefer Flight of Fear. We didn't ride Ricochet that day, we were too preoccupied by I305. Why, Shockwave? Why are you torturing those poor people? This photo puts into perspective how big I305 is. It just spits all over Rebel Yell and Anaconda! Drop Tower mid-climb. My best photo of Dominator I have, it's taken from the picnic pavilion entrance. Would you believe this ride used to scare me $h1tless? Waiting for the backstage tour we see Intimidator305, THROUGH THE TREEEEEEEESSSS!!!!!!!! Why did KD only paint this part of Anaconda? So it would look better from I305's plaza? That is not a roller coaster, that is a monument! This is actually the scariest part of the ride, for me at least. Without trims this hill would have monster airtime. MMMmmmm, nice legs baby! Intimidator305 gets my stamp of approval! Even though it's trimmed, this drop is awesome! Intimidator305 has some sexy curves to it! The huge, forceful turnaround. You can see the size difference between the two hills. Not quite an OH $h1t moment, but still good. This is why backstage tours are awesome, look how close we got to the track. If the straps aren't pulled too tight there is some nice floater air here. Preparing for awesomeness in 3.....2......1......! WHEEEEEE!! That was fun! Here you can see how badly Rebel Yell needs to be painted. Nerd Shot!! We see you Dominator! Here is the log flume...wait for it... THROUGH THE TREEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! The skies started to get cloudy and then the thunderstorm hit. Luckily the sun came out and we got more rides in (not on this obviously). This shot would have looked pretty different 30 years ago. Blurry Loop!! Clear loop with train!! Sun's going down, almost time for ERT! Here ya go Larry! Intamin Gods, I am not worthy! I am not worthy! I305 at sunset is very sexy! Dale Earnhart gets my stamp of apoproval. It was this dark during ERT. Sadly, we had to leave before ERT ended as dehydration started to take effect. This was still the most fun I have ever had in a single day. I end this report with a shoutout to Robb, Elissa, the KD staff, and everyone who made this day awesome. Robb, you are one awesome guy and I can't wait to meet up with you for another TPR event. Thank you, thank, you, thank you!
orangeguy
Nice pictures! I'm amused by your aversion to Shockwave, haha. Even if we're not on the same page with I305, at least we agree on something.
