odene497
^I agree with you on the "i" thing, it's pretty stupid. But if that's what they want to call it... I haven't been looking into this ride at all, but seeing it now it looks incredible. Xcelerator with extra awesomeness. That hill after the top hat looks like it's going to be great, although I noticed some brakes on it. They could have at least braked it after the amazing hill. SLUSHIE
I'm really glad the police in LA don't actually drive BMWs. I get pulled over enough as it is. If the police were as hot as that chick though I wouldn't mind if they did.
Six Flags Enthuseast
That is a very nice looking park. Just a few major attractions, some good coasters.... MY kind of park!

matteocrepaldi
EUROPA PARK - May 1st and 2nd! DAY 1: I found a cat! And this is the last photo for DAY 1! I hope you enjoied my trip reports so far! Close up with bonus bugs flying around the light! The bonus helix! With a long time exposure it doesn't look that dark! Artistic shot 1! First drop! And finally I took my new shining tripod and here's some night shots of Silver Star!!! CHILI CON CARNE!!! With beer! The beer was Rothaus Weiss! Very good! Back to the camp! We decided to build our tents before dinner. I took this photos the following morning because it was soon too dark to see anything. We finished the construction at around 10pm and we realized that all the restaurants had their kitchens closed. The only thing we could eat was... See what I mean? After that we went back to Silver Star just in time to get one last ride before the park closed! I love my new camera so much! UPSIDE DOWN!!! The park closed at 8pm that day due to the insane crowd so we had time for one more ride on Blue Fire! Back to Poseidon, you gotta love the theming inside the station! Random Silver Star lift hill with random stickers behind the last row!!! Silver Star rules! These boats were fast! After Silver Awesome Star we rode Pegasus (awesome drop for a family ride!) and we moved to Poseidon!!! Random K support! BTW... Silver Star is still one of my favourite rides ever! The line was insane! They even made you go outside! And the worst part was that Silver Star was running only 2 trains. I've never seen Silver Star running less than 3 trains before! The good part was that we could take pics to the lift hill! The Mc Laren Mercedes hall this year hosted old Formula 1 cars and they played very old and very interesting movied about some of the first Formula 1 races! Geek shot 2: the non macgnetic brake! Geek shot 1: the magnetic brake! After that we went to ride Silver Star! As you can see they have those new stickers that actually match the new Formula 1 color scheme! Awesome! I think we stopped on the way to ride Euro Mir but I hate that coaster su much I didn't take pictures! One last looks at Blue Fire! What a great ride!!! Crazy Italians! More vertical loooooop! Another inversion after the crazy hadchopper tunnel! Vertical loooop!!! This is probably the turn after the loop! The whole queue line was full but we entered anyway! Blue Fire! I don't see much Fire but I see lots of Blue and lots of people in line from here! This looks like future expansion ground to me! It would be fun to do both drops backwards! Atlantica Super Station! We started to move to the back of the park where Blue Fire is and we stopped to ride Atlantica Super Splash! First ride of the day was Euro Sat! The line was the fastest moving around so we decided to give it a try. It's still a great ride! We found a nice spot in the camping with a nice view of Silver Star! We arrived at the park at 11am after a 5 hours drive from Milano (Italy). The rides were already doing their things!
the ghost
Awesome TR. If you have ever been to disneyland there is something like an entire family of cats. I have seen probably 4 different cats at Disneyland and DCA. Europa looks beautiful, probably the park in Europe that is the 3rd most appealing to me after alton(for nemesis) and leisberg(sp) for balder. lil jimmy norton
Awesome pictures man. For some reason, I like the fact that Silver Star's lift has stairs on only one side. It just looks good to me.

matteocrepaldi
Here comes day 2! And this closes my Europa Park trip report! Thanks for reading! Please post some comments to help make better trip reports in the future! Goodbye Silver Star! See you next time! And after one last great ride on the front seat of Silver Star we left the park! Geek close up! Lift hill engine! OMG!!! Check out those new shiny stickers! Yes, still running only 2 trains! I'm one of the very few people who still love Silver Star! Obviously it's not good as the first time I rode it but I think it's still a great ride. Close up!!! Blue Fire was amazing but we decided to finish our weekend in a different way! Through the rocks! Happy riders! Back where we started the day! Blue Fire was really an awesome ride. Too bad the line was so long. Did I mention that the weather was really hot??? We didn't ride this one but we went on Fiord Rafting instead. Watch out for the bear!!! Powered coaster credit! Always fun! Europa Park has so many rides that every time you visit you find something you have never noticed. Like this one! In the italian themed area there's a small Mack musum with the ricreations of some of their rides and concepts. This is the coaster inside the ball also known as Euro Sat. Park your dog here! Creepy guy from the random scandi themed dark ride walk through thing. Random theming! Gone! Do you know what that smoke at the end of the tunnel means?! As we entered the park we went straight to ride Blue Fire front seat. We waited just about an hour for the front! The park was still busy as hell. One last look at Silver Star and I had to go back to the camping for breakfast! Close up! The first drop! Trying to be artistic! Check out those sexy curves! I woke up at 7.00 am and I didn't feel like going back to sleep so I went for a wolk.

matteocrepaldi
This summer I spent 14 days in Finland and I had some time to check out some local parks. Thanks for reading! I'll post Sarkanniemi photos soon!!! I hope you like this angle! By the end of the day I missed only one credit: the indoor coaster because I didn't know it was there! Back to the little awesomeness! Those cups spin like crazy! So fast!!! This is some kind of wild mouse. It was so good that when the operator offered me to ride it again without leaving the train I refused! Probably not an acceptable amount of water! Fire! This is actually the 4th spinning coaster by Maurer I rode. It's nice but a little bit too short. Nice pink train! Next up was Salama. New for 2008 spinning coaster. I really couldn't find a decent angle to take photos at! This is my 150th credit. It was the first time I've ever rode a coater with a guy operating the brakes on the train! Ok, after this one I'll pass to the next ride! I just love those restraints, so much better than the standards OTSRS. Intamin magnetic brakes! Probably one of the most unpredictable rides ever! So awesome! Too bad it's so short! Mmmmh... double chain curved lift hill! It's so small but I totally loved it! Lets start with the good stuff! Check out my awesome wirstband! Since it was late I got it for just 29€! (40$) If you count that a single ride on anything costs 6€ it's a decent price. It was around 6.30 pm and I had just a little more than 3 hours to get every credit in the park including this awesome Intamin ball coaster! Here's the first park of my trip: Linnanmaki! As you arrive in Helsinki by train you pass right next to the park and this is what you see when you exit the train station.

matteocrepaldi
Here's some photos from Sarkanniemi! I love this photo!!! This is NOT Sarkanniemi but it's another place in Finland! Thanks for looking at my pics! UPSIDE DOWN!!! Take the tunnel! It's as bad as it looks! As soon as I saw Trombi testing I got in line and I rode it! Back to the ground! Here's a closer look at the new addiction for 2009! Random view of the park! You can see the new Disk'O Coaster for 2009! I tryied to take a photo of the whole Tornado's layout but I had to cut something off! Corckscrew whole layout! A nice view from the observation tower! My first Intamin Half Pipe credit! When it doesn't spin too much it's quite good! This was the ride I waited the most for, which is 30 minutes! "Sorry, this ride is closed right now! You should be thanking me because is so bad!!!" Gotta touch them! Too bad my bags were already overweight! This park has some great souvenirs! Just kidding, there were some Intamin boxes just next to the Tornado exit! That one is a great drop! Just a little bit short but in the backseat it's really great! At least this one was short! Vekoma is always a sign for high quality rides like this one! Dark ride?! No thanks! Except for a couple of rides, the park was pretty much empty! I wasn't used to see trains like these! More credits!!! Here's how that thing looks! I'm not flat ride firendly so this is something I'm not going to ride! This coaster was really great! As I said the key element is the through the station inline twist! Through the loop! The park opened at 12 am. This is the crowd waiting to get in! Viewing tower trough the trees! Italian flying death machine! It was closed for almost the whole day but I managed to get the credit! Tornado signature element aka the through the station inline twist! Walking around the parking lot I had a closer look at this Intamin awesomeness! Looks like I was on the right direction! This is me waiting to arrive to destination! Themed train! Lets start from the Helsinki train station! It takes about two hours by train to get to Tampere which is where Sarkanniemi is. Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Great photos! Keep up with the nerd shots as those are one of my favourites. Too bad about the indoor coaster credit. matteocrepaldi
I bring this back from the death because yesterday I was at Gardaland and I feel like sharing some photos!!! I hope you like them! I travelled TPR style! I arrived 5 minutes late and I missed the 7.25 train so I had about one hour to waste before the 8.25 train! Not as cool as those in Japan but still pretty awesome! This was not my train! Me. Hot. My train! It arrived at Peschiera del Garda with a delay of 30 minutes because it just stopped for 30 minutes at the first stop after Milano for apparently no reason. Since I like thrilling experiences I decided to walk from the train station to the park. Very dengerous! I was late so I ran to meet my friends on Raptor! Gotta love these water effects. After Raptor we moved to the other side of the park. The heat was insane so this was the best thing we could ride! Magic Mountain sponsored by Fanta! It's old and very old style but still kind of fun! It's a Top Spin and it's called Top Spin! I don't like this kind of rides! My friends and I rode this spinning Peter Pan ride. No too bad! Nerd shot of the kiddie coaster! Lets shoot some evil robots! I'm evil terminator statue from hell! I don't know what I'm doing here but you can try to shoot me if you want! Green light of death! The second time I rode I managed to get a score above 10000 points which is ok! I see you evil death machine with a bonus helix! Not feeling like riding it today! One thing I love about Raptor is how it interacts with the Rio Bravo midway. Riders passes just a few feet above the heads of the guests. Pretty cool! Does this count as through the trees?! I found Raptor's secret code. Don't tell anyone! Very close to the ground!!! Happy riders! All this roller coaster riding made me thirsty! Still don't know why I rode this. This is the worse horror walk through I've seen and I knew it! This is still my favourite ride in the park! So intense! And the sky look pretty cool today! When you see this it means it's time to ride the Magic House! Spinning! Everything's spinning! The best thing about Raptor is that the more I was riding it, the more I liked it! It felt better every time! The first drop is absolutely amazing. If it just was 50 feet longer it could have been perfect! One more looks at this great ride! It might not be tall, fast or forceful but it's still lots of fun!!! I had a great time yesterday! Thanks for reading this! I hope you liked my photos!!!
