pkdcoaster
Well after a really crappy weather week (can you say rain?) Me DPdragon and Mforce79 decided to go to PKD on Friday expecting a decent crowd given it is the Friday before 7-4 weekend and the past week has been really bad weather wise. Much to our surprise the park was dead! except the waterpark got really crowded after 2pm since temps were in the low 90s and the sun was shining bright. this is what we hit in 5 hours (and squeezing in the time to take over 270 pics ) I also have to add that ALL of the Wood coasters were running outstanding every one of them was running the best it has run in a LONG time. keep it up CF!!!! Volcano was still down of course, word is that they are repairing 2 trains, I looked at the launch area and could not notice anything damaged or out of the ordinary (no trains were visable). The dark Blue slides by Yell were open finally! so I ran in as the Waterpark opened to take some AWESOME pics of Rebel Yell Scooby doo-1 IJ-1 TRFF-2 Anaconda-1 Drop Zone-1 Shockwave-1 Rebel Yell-1 (C&E-2) Hurler-1 Grizzly-3 triple spin-1 hanna barbara thing-1 E Tower-1 well here are the pics and poor Chris lost 2 "close" members of his "personal" family that day My Sympathies Chris took some great pics too, hopefully he will share JEFF thanks guys for a great day! Beauty and the Beast....easy Beast don't hurt her! I'm so happy I could Crap Crazy from the heat I still have mine even though I don't need them anymore I have no more nuts to give!!!!!! Why does this park not want me to have kids? Dammit!!!!!! the other one is gone now!!!! Chris is thinking "hey I still got one nut" Will these dorks ever stop taking pictures Free half gallon of almost expired milk sent USPS in 10 days if you can find Chris and Erin in this pic They even erected a small tombstone for one of Chris' nuts he lost on this ride...at least he still has the other one HAIR!!!!! My fav pic of the day
mforce79
dude, that's not even funny Crotch Raider and Hyperstaple -- Never again! Ever. It was very surprising how short the lines were at all the rides, especially with Volcano down. Even though the temperatures were in the mid-90s, the operaters at every ride were really on top of things, and that made all the difference. We seriously waited about 10 minutes for Hypersonic in the middle of the afternoon. Very impressive. And I agree, the wood coasters were running spectacular. Would have been nice to take a few rides on Volcano, but other than that a great day. 2 closed rides in one shot =( Jeff "squeezing in time" (and holding up lines) for his 270 ridiculous pictures "Every ride we put in this year has to have gravel all around it" Fruity Shockwave with some nerds who actually waited for the front seat Never again Jeff Chillin' in his new toy
