Guy T. Koepp
OK So I have had some time to sort through my photos. There are alot of them, so I will do them in daily order. To begin, I arrived in NY @ 5:50 on Sunday the 14th. After getting my bags from the claim area I hailed a cab and had him whisk me away to Astroland so I could get a ride in on the "Grand Daddy" of coasters. The Coney Island Cyclone. As we approached the coast I could see it, and the Wonder Wheel rise in the distance. My blood raced and my mouth salivated as we pulled up. Well... If a picture paints a thousand words. These two say it all. My spacious living quarters for the next 4 nights. This room was smaller than my bedroom back in LA. By this time I was real tired! I paid almost $15 for a #4 combo at McDonalds, watched some TV, checked my E-mail and crashed for the night. Oh... To see two hot Swedish chicks bending over their luggage. This was the highlight of my miserable day. But wait! it get worse! My view South down 42nd St. Grand Central Station & the Chrysler Bld. Are 2 block down on the Left hand side. Tired and lonley from being without my family and not being able to ride the Cyclone I entered my Hotel. My hotel. Conveniently located at 42nd St & 2nd Ave. Right around the corner of the UN building. Cyclone... STILL CLOSED! NO CREDITS FOR ME! So I took a $45 cab ride to the hotel. It was raining in Manhattan when I arrived. Kiddie credits... CLOSED! Oooooo! The Wonder Wheel! CLOSED! Ahhhhh! Ghost hole! I don't want to be there when these ghosts are released. Ghost Hole? WTF's a Ghost hole? My curiosity was peaked. I had to have a closer look. I cried as I would have no chance to get back to this icon this week. The cabbie tells me that they always close it when it rains in the morning. To which I replied... "Mabey that's something you should have told me before I had you take me here! No Closed! Freakin closed!

Guy T. Koepp
I am posting the TR in spurts. I am old. I can only sit at my computer for a short while. (Kids will do that to you.) Day 2 will be a little later today. Followed by Day 3 tonight. Etc... Etc... And so on and so on. It was very sad not getting to ride the Cylone. I will try to get there next time. I am hoping to work in the NY area a lot more. Several of my clients have been requesting me to travel with them so it seems I will.

Guy T. Koepp
Are you ready for day 2 The inside of my eyelids. Goodnite. Oh! I figured out why New York smells like Ass. They pipe it in from underground. At least the weather cleared up. I can see the whole Chrysler Bld. I'm going back to my hotel room and going to sleep. 4 & a half hours later I make it back to Grand Central Station. I'm just happy to be alive! Oh good! At least there's a grave yard. So when I get mugged, they'll have a place to bury me. Hell No! I'm now on the Blue line heading to BFE! (For those of you that don't know where BFE is... It's Butt F***ing Egypt!) I am so freaking lost. Hell No! It took me approximately two hours to get 15 blocks! Do you think that stopped me from trying again? Hey, I made it to times square. Do you think I know how I made it to times square? Yeah, so this site survey took me like... all of 5 minutes. (Yeah, they paid me.) Time to sight see! Or... get lost. You decide. Venkman - Hey! Nobody steps on a church in my town! Stantz - Ready! 1,2,3... Roast em! See! Its spook central! This is where Zul attacks the Ghostbusters up on the top. I see that they are finaly getting around to fixing the roof after the (almost) end of the world as we know it. Ohhhh! Cause this is the place where Rick Moranis's character got attacked by the Devil Dog in GhostBusters. Tres' Cool! Flash forward two hours later. I finaly made it to the location. Why does this place look familiar to me? I am. Oh, by the way. That is Dunkin Doughnuts Coffee I am drinking. Mmmmmmmm! Tasty! Coffee covers the smell of Ass. I'm still lost. The subway. Oh, I figured out the smell... ASS! It's ASS! New York smells like Ass! Are you lost yet? Inside Grand Central Station. As you can see it's all Grand and Centraly. No smell. I strolled the two blocks to Grand Central Station to catch a train to my job site. And what in the name of all that's holy is that smell? I could tell how my day was going to be by how much of the Chrysler Building I could see. What is that smell?

Guy T. Koepp
New York Day 3! As I didn't have a specific time to be at work today I slept in. I was tired from all the Strippers and Porn the night before. But that's an entirely different trip report. Anyway, It still smells like Ass. Better get to work. As I was frequently told, "If you don't like the weather right now. Wait a minute. It'll get worse." How true. I walked the 4 blocks to my home enveloped in the smell of moldy wet ass. Goodnite. These are SIGNATURE TIMES SQUARE shots. No one in the history of man, beast, or God, has ever taken pictures like these. Ever! It was night when the show let out. Sooooooo... Times Square at night. It was now time for the highlight of my day! Spamalot! Nothing says comedy like a troup of misguided knights searching for the Holy Grail. This show is Hi-larious. If you get the chance, you realy should see it. I loved it! Oooooooo! What do my wandering eyes spy? Another beacon of worldwide unity. A place where man can get together to celebrate the other universal symbol of friendship. BOOBS! Ha! Tourists! This is also the place where George Bush Jr. comes to spit on the rest of the world. Kick everyone when their down, and systematicaly shred the bonds of worldwide unity. This is the Rotunda Bld. This is where the magic happens. Peace is made here. Worldwide friendships are born and nurished here. This place is the gateway to the realization of a one world. A world united in peace and love. Hey! The U.N. Building. This is where representitives from all over the world come to discuss affairs of the world. Carnegie Hall! I'm told some dude named Carnegie played so well on stage one night that they named the place after him. Some dude on the street told me that if I played well, I would have a building named after me too someday. I now have something to l Me riding up the elevator to the wharehouse. I talked to some friends and prepped my package for a couple of hours. They paid me! Why does the sentence before last sound so wrong? Oh well... time to sight see, or get lost. Their still pumping Ass from the underground. In retrospect that last sentence sounds so wrong. Oh well. Off to work. Oh, in case you were wondering. This is an artistic view of my hotel. I'd show you a picture of what ny view was, but since my room was about 50ft back along the right side it only allowed me the priveledge of staring point blank into a concrete buildin Did I mention how my morning ritual began here in NY! Dunkin Doughnuts! Yay! Hey, I can see the whole Chrysler Building this morning. Happy Day!
Stitch
What the hell Guy, all that misery in New York and no visits from Spiderman or the Ninja Turtles ... what a rip!! Excellent pictures and even better quotes
Nrthwnd
Nice Photo TRs, Guy. Random nostalgia for seeing your pic of the Shubert Theater, Broadway. I saw my first-ever Broadway Musical there: A Chorus Line In March of 1976. With the original cast. Before the TONYs Sweep over (choke) "Chicago," and "Pacific Overtures." And my first-ever visit to NYC, too... Sorry to see a lot of your 'touring around' (i.e.Cyclone closed? lost?) kinda sucked. But I think you did admirably caption-wise, if only for your own amusement, let alone ours, lol.

Guy T. Koepp
^Don't get your undies in a bunch precious. The GAdv photos should be up tonight. Or will they? I started posting the day after I finished my hella long working stint. It's also a holliday weekend. My Moms in town. I have kids that I like to spend time with. I have a wife that is in a constant state of needing serviced. Then of course we have Kim, who can't keep her hands off me. Between all of those things, and trying to work out once a day. It's a shock that I have gotten as much as I have done. Anyway. Here is Day 4. It is short, because after I finished the job in 2 hours I had to sit and wait to strike it all 12 hours later. Yeah! There it is. That tiny grey spot in the middle of the yard. Yeah, there are 7 more of those around. Somewhere. Anyway. It took me and my guys all of an hour to tear everything down. Job done! I'm going to bed and dreaming of 6FGAdv and the g Here's a cool picture of the party in full swing. Can you see one of my plasma stations in the backgorund? After dispatching the giant gorilla with stealth like capabilities. That only I posess. It was time to sit and eat. FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS! Like for instance a giant leaf gorilla could attack! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! A giant leaf gorilla! I'm underpaid! I'm underpaid! See very technical stuff! My job is done here. Remember, this is very dangerous. Any number of things could go wrong. Me and two assistants built 8 of these plasma stations and then I made the magic happen. I powered it on. Cause no one... I repeat NO ONE should power anything on unless they have a profesional like myself to be there to make sure it is done correctly.
