dubaidave
The Lodge is a restaurant and leisure complex in Dubai, they do the best Friday Brunch in town. Al Nasr Leisure land is part of the same complex and has an ice rink, bowling and a small kiddie park out the back. Here are the pics, As usual there was no one else there, luckily I was able to borrow some kids for the visit. Enjoy. One last shot for the Anoraks! aha a real credit. More fruit This place has seen better days And the door opens very slowly The train (bat) Stops At this door This is a boat shaped train ride run on petrol! rollermonkey
I think I saw that Helo ride thing once! I didn't know there was a whole "park" too. The kids look like they are riding defensively to save their lives! Interesting contrasts between pretty nice looking fruit and pretty shoddy looking rides. dubaidave
I rode the coaster too, and while the front was not too bad, the ride in the second to last row, the last row was taped off!, was the most painfull coaster I have ever ridden. The fact that the train stays on the tracks amazes me. It definatly needs a bit of looking after. There arn`t many `real` credits, ie. not powered, here i Dubai at the moment so I ride all I can. Hattuchili
It looks nice with all the fruit stuff there! But the rides are relly looking bad. However, thanks for posting! --Sören

Hattuchili
^ Umm, was something wrong, Dave? I mean the rides are looking like they are in bad conditions. Does it sounds a bit better? However, I really like the theming, with all the big fruits, like I said! --Sören
dubaidave
Actually I wasnt being sarcastic, I really like the way you reply to most people who take the time to post photo reports.

Slacking
Great pics! Looks like a very interesting space! I am quite baffled by the boat/train thing through the giant orange mouth. Is there more once you go through the mouth? Whats in there? I feel a strange urge to ride that ride.
Nrthwnd
Name of the coaster: Alizzia = Elissa? Nice TR, Dave. Too bad some of the stuff wasn't working, or stored away. Those 'banana swings' looked great! Hmmm. TPR's very own FruitLand!
dubaidave
^ The name is supposed to be Blizzard, i think. ^^ when the train (boat) Goes through the doors there is a long indoor section. The kids said there were a couple of bad dinasaour models and lots of sound effects. They were literaly in the insid bit for ten minutes so I`m sure there must be something else going on in there, next time I can borrow some young enough kids I will go on it and film the inside bit. DenDen
That's the most funky-looking coaster I've seen, like a midget Schwartzkopf. That would be a very cool back yard coaster, even if the kids were holding their ears.
