Erik Johnson
Hey, why not go to a different kind of Florida park? So we did. We ended up going to Homosassa Springs today right by Crystal River, Florida. They have a ton of rare animals there so it was kinda fun. Well enjoy!! http://www.homosassasprings.org/Homosassa.cfm The small rodent, on the fence was, able to escape from this cougar. Check out the baby allligator. This size is known as: "toliet flushing size". These flamingos were going at it like a UFC match. Nice kitty. Its my high school mascot. The Bobcat. Dimondback rattlesnake, very dangerous. Hippos are cool as well. If in Florida and you see one of these things. Make sure you get in really close to pet it. They do not bite.....very hard. Coolest sign ever. Does this count as a hippo credit? Rodent vs Man. Leanne needs to work on her "scared" pose. Wait a minute!!?! I am not a Georgia Bulldog. Flipper: The Later Years Be careful George. Maybe manatees like German food. If they eat so healthy, how and why do they get so big and fat? Humans don't work this way. Manatees love carrots. "Hi, I am George...I came all the way from Germany to play with the manatees." Well...except that one. Manatees are cool. Check out this web site. Look at me, Im a manatee! Looks more like a big rock in the water instead of a manatee aka "Sea Cow". Looks kinda nice, does it not? You also get a cool manatee stamp on your hand. Its included with admission. Only $9 a person. I guess because its run by the state. We made it to...what was the name of the place again? Since I did not have to drive, I had these things to keep me busy. Donuts are yummy! You got to start off the day with good quality food...right?
Erik Johnson
more pictures...as always. Thats it..I hope you had fun! World's dirtiest van. Probably owned by the same person who had that car at BGT last October. After spending a day with wildlife, we decided to eat some of it. Leanne's father, Charlie, also wondered if we could get some free food. I wonder if we can get a free car. I bet you never thought Florida looked like this. Hooray! Its the Tram ride! Elissa friendly wood art. Well, there is a nuclear power plant less than 10 miles away. LOL! My favorite photo from this trip. "Hi, my name is Clint Howard..the brother of Ron Howard." This is my kind of park. Ramming speed!!!! Everyone looks really excited. Ok..one nice picture on the Photo TR. Oh crap, I hope I do not end up like Ned Beatty. Here we go! Horray! Its the boat ride time. Looks like they have a name for the hippo. Never feed these things tootsie pops. Everything you ever wanted to know about the Whooping Crane. The Whooping Crane. One of the rarest birds in America. Check out the lazy american mascots.

Louise
Wow, Homosassa Springs, I've been there a bunch of times but had forgotten the place ever existed! I absolutely loved manatees as a kid, mum and dad always struggled to drag me away from them. I do NOT, however, remember sharing a name, albeit spelled differently, with the hippo. pianojohn
Very cool TR! I need to hit some of the lesser known Florida attractions. Every time I drive to BGT, I pass Dino World (I think that's what it is called) and I NEED to check it out! Enjoy EE when you come to DAK! I will be up in Virginia for 6 weeks doing another show. Need to get in as many coasters as possible between now and Saturday!

I can't beleive they charge about $10 for it. You walk around and look at phoney plaster dinos.
