Erik Johnson
Went back to IOA/Universal today (Hey its been 2 weeks). I saw a few new interesting things today as well as some deconstruction HHN pictures. Check out these pictures. Everyone loves Donkey. In fact there was a lot of new King Kong stuff all over both parks. They were selling KING KONG merchandise in the Revenge of the Mummy gift shop. Someone has a sense of humor (or is very mean). While walking through the Revenge of the Mummy gift shop I noticed something ironic. HHN deconstruction. Goodbye Rat Run. Since I am an AP holder, this will be my first entry into the King Kong sweepstakes. Wally must be coming to Florida sometime soon. This is the front of the new building/counter. Anyone know what its going to be used for? While heading into Citywalk I noticed this new structure being built. This is the back of it. They replaced the HHN sign in the parking area with the Fear Factor Live sign. I always hated this sign.
Erik Johnson
Ok on over to IOA. Well, its past Octo 31st. I wonder if the new menu will be better. Look how small the Mythos menu looks now. I think over 1/3 of the items have been removed this past month. Even though there was no sign out in front of IOA (Derek??) Poseidon's was still closed for HHN deconstruction. I took a peek through a crack in the wall only to notice nothing different than before. Dang it! Red walls everywhere! Could the Grinch be held responsible? Oh crap! They cut off my usual shortcut through Suess landing with this red wall. Anybody have any idea what this is used for? I did hear strange voices coming out of this submarine though. The Hulk ride-ops were top notch today. They were running 2 trains which meant no waiting time for either the front or back seat. Amazing!! I am still waiting to see if they make the Bill & Ted Edition of the Human Torch. As you can see, IOA was very crowded today. Awwwwww! I miss Hell. The cool stage is still standing, maybe they can keep it until next year. Heading into IOA. Some of the HHN stuff is still standing, well its only been 2 days since it ended. Hmmm, it looks like everyone got lucky with the water-flume ride 2 weeks ago. Plus where did the Poseidon's Fury sign go? Derek????? Erik Johnson
More IOA. The brake run. This one is my 2nd. Up the lifthill, this is my first onride coaster picture ever. It was a 5 minute wait today, and they were running 2 trains on it. Wheeeee! Its a coaster everyone can enjoy, and it actually has some forces on it. Looks fun! Hey! Why not post some Flying Unicorn pictures. I actually like this skater coaster. Well time for other experiences. No, you are not supposed to run away from the Dragons kid! I think after riding it so much these past few months, Ice Dragon is now my favorite coaster. I never get tired of it. But these things did not detract from how awesome this coaster was running today. This crew was better than my DD HHN experience 2 weeks ago, but it did not help that they were running only one train per side today. For most of the day the ride-ops seemed to be average. Many of the delays today were due to park guests not knowing how to read (loose items, short kids etc.) I decided to take the lower ground and head into the ride through the re-ride doorway. Look how happy I look. Ok onto my favorite, Dueling Dragons.
Erik Johnson
Jurassic Park area and more. Clark would probably try to punch out a moose. I wonder what the Grizwolds would do if they saw this sign. More waterless track. This pictures is for those who may be interested in a closer look of the ride track without water. No! Its not a credit. Looks quite a bit different without water. Skool must still be in session. First time I ever noticed this deal. This little girl was never seen again. Splashdown!! "Is that a hotel?" said someone in the backrow of the ride. Welcome to Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park was a walk-on. And they were running plenty of boats as well. Even if they let me ride this coaster, I would not wait 45 minutes for it. Wheeeee! It looks kind of fun, but it has terrible people capacity. They are really strict about not allowing adults without kids to ride this coaster. Since the crowds are really light today, I wonder if I will have a chance to get this credit. This little walkway is not as cool during the daytime. Onto the Jurassic Park area. These things are still standing from HHN.
Erik Johnson
More IOA. On my way home I made sure that I was doing the speed limit. Have a good one all! I thought this was kind of funny. King Kong was everywhere! It looks like the driving machine's ride area was getting a good power wash today. I bet you could have stayed open after 3:00 if you still served your Tomato and Cheese salad. My signature pose. So how do I become a Doombot? Here you go Derek. Even those who do not like the coaster can not deny how awesome it looks. The Incredible Hulk is such a great coaster to take pictures of. The only attraction I had to wait for today was the Dueling Dragons. I discovered this little area for the first time today. Next time Leanne and I go to IOA we should try it out. Anybody ever eat here? Make sure you pay attention to the song if you ever ride it, otherwise you will pay dearly. I would hate to have that name. Whatever has the shorter line. Ok, I did ride Dueling Dragons 2 more times. Awwwww, I miss the shrub people. Edited November 3, 2005 by Erik Johnson

jarmor
Could it be for the credit card peddlers that get you to fill out the applications and give out the neat cool bags? I think thats just props that add to the "experience" at the park...been there every since I have been going to the park. Looking at the shrimp tempura sushi on that menu brings a tear to my eyes... I've done character breakfast there several times. Pretty good food...
Florida420
I love this time of year to visit US & IOA, It's much cooler weather, not near as busy (on weekdays anyway) and I think it just smells better :? WTF ? That sure was a lot of Kong stuff, I bet they are kicking themselves in the ass now about the whole Kong, E.T. desision. Damn that fat hobbit Peter Jackson and his blockbuster movie ideas 8) Speaking of movies, anyone have any idea when Jizzaws is gonna open back up? I love yelling to the boat captain "Go For It!!" at the fire part, before they get a chance to say it. They just kind of give you the stink eye and say "we have to go for it" 'cause they have to still say it, ha ha Oh yeah BTW Erik, thanks for going to IOA on my B-Day and not inviting me it's only a hour and a half drive and I would have much rather gone there than gone to work :? Thanks again...........putz............ ....just hackin' on ya you know your still my dogg!! P All "Chopper, turn off your light, I can't see!!! Chopper, turn off your........OH MY GOD!!!!"
