SharkTums
Ok, it was hot, but we ended up having a pretty cool day. I missed Robb so this was a good distraction from that. FYI, Ashley is my co-workers daughter. She's awesome! BTW, I am posting the new construction pictures in the SFMM construction thread after this one! On to the pictures... Ashley was excited to hear that there was a Flying coaster coming to SFMM! Wait, what is this!?!? THE LEFT SIDE!!! We rode on the right...WHILE THE LEFT SIDE WAS TESTING!!! Now granted it was going at about 25mph, and then took about 20minutes to get back, but I finally rode one side with the other also going! Next up, Superman...still no crowds! This is great! Where did Thrill Shot Go?? (BTW, we saw it later over by Batman!?!?) This was also Ashley's first time on Deja Vu, she thought it was great, but felt that the restraint didn't fit her properly (I agree...it's not good for small people!) We were on the 2nd train out for the day on this one too! Next up was Deja Vu... Yup...this is why you get to parks early...On and Off of X in 15 minutes! I was a bit warm after the run up the hill, but it was worth it as we were on the 2nd train out of the day...btw, my ride SUCKED! =( This was Ashley's 1st ride ever on X! She liked it a lot! I was slightly concerned that this is what it looked like at 9:15!

SharkTums
More Pix! We had a great time! Check the other thread for construction pix! We ended our day at Mountasia playing some redemption games and winning 4 army men, 18 rulers, and a smelly pencil. (btw, the army men are for you robb!) We had now done 8 coasters in 2 hours and it was 103 degrees...so we left to get lunch, and then off to the mall where I found an ad for KATAMARI!!!! Ashley looks like she's grabbing Mr. Six's butt! Time for Goliath...uh, yeah it's not the one in Holland! All those people must be at SFHH! Ashley on her first floorless! Did I mention that there were no lines and we did the front seat on almost all the coasters today!?!? Poor Ashley is tall enough for the B&M's and yet still too small! Yay Riddler! We were on a new train and it was really hard keeping our feet on the floor until they locked us in place! This was something I had never seen...a grouper on Riddler! Too bad it really wasn't needed right now! BTW, everything was running multiple trains that could, and running pretty efficiently, I was impressed! BTW, Ninja is cool! Yay Ninja! I love this ride! coasterdude5
Awesome Pics! That'd be awesome to go with you to MM for a day! Especially with no lines! BTW, has anybody heard anything on the status of Flashback???

SharkTums
^Thanks! Yeah I guess I should explain for anyone living in a cave... Robb is on a business trip around the world showing off the new Call of Duty game. The army men made me think of him. Elissa "but the 18 rulers were much cooler!" AllisonY2K
18 rulers? that sounds like enough to hand out at work on monday. great pics, btw! so where were the crowds, did you ever notice if it was really crowded at SFHH?
Sir Clinksalot
Awesome. Army men ROCK!! The army men Robb and I won at Mountasia like 2 years ago are still sitting on top of our dryer!!!
arrowfanman
This was also Ashley's first time on Deja Vu, she thought it was great, but felt that the restraint didn't fit her properly (I agree...it's not good for small people!) They aren't good for anyone! Im 5' 8", 160 lbs, and when I last rode dejavu, we got stuck facing down, and the only thing holding me in really was that orange seatbelt! Well, as long as you show up when the park opens, you are bound to finish all the rides in the back quickly, but what you guys did was TOO quickly...lol. SharkTums
Hey, just looked out my balcony for the final update! Fireworks! (Hey, at least we can't see the park from the apartment...just the fireworks!)
Justin Adams
Nice pics, I've never seen SFMM so dead. At 103 degrees though, I can imagine why. HOLY CRAP that's hot. I guess coming from Florida, it's not too bad though. Justin
SharkTums
No, No...IT WAS BAD!!!! Elissa "it was humid AND 103 degrees!" Alvey
ebl
Funny thing...I actually thought about going to SFMM today, but figured that it would be way too hot. It's nice and cool here in Camarillo. I just opened the house and let all the cool sea breeze come through here. Nice report...looks like you two had fun. Hopefully the next time I go to SFMM I'll have the same kind of crowds you had. Hattuchili
Hey Elissa, great pictures! It looks like you have had a great day, also without Robb! However, remember Robb will be back in a week! -Sören
coasters 4 me
Hey Elissa. Looks like yous had a great time. Wish all parks had queues like that everyday and everytime of the day! Great pics to.
Mr.Six
Wow! A nice suprise that Superman will be running its left side also. Looks like you guys had fun that day. Michael"Even Mr.Six got some action that day!"Thomas
robbalvey
Nice photos....blah, blah, blah....looks like you had a good time...blah, blah, blah.... One note is that Elissa is totally right about "This is why you get to the park early!" We have now done the "Running of the bulls to X" at least 20 times in the past two years, and EVERY TIME we've been able to get on and off the ride within less than an hour and usually less than 30 minutes. I'm not sure how so many people screw this up and wind up waiting 4 hours for the ride because there really is no need! Maybe we need to post detailed instructions on "How to get on X without wasting your lift away...." --Robb
