One by Metallica is good too. Its about a WW1 soldier who was horribly injured,no arms, legs, speech, hearing or sight.

I can't remember anything
Can't tell if this is true or dream
Deep down inside i feel to scream
This terrible silence stops me

Now that the war is through with me
I'm waking up i can not see
That there is not much left of me
Nothing is real but pain now

Hold my breath as i wish for death
Oh please god,wake me

Back in the womb its much too real
In pumps life that i must feel
But can't look forward to reveal
Look to the time when i'll live

Fed through the tube that sticks in me
Just like a wartime novelty
Tied to machines that make me be
Cut this life off from me

Hold my breath as i wish for death
Oh please god,wake me
Now the world is gone i'm just one
Oh god, help me hold my breath as i wish for death
Oh please god help me

Darkness imprisoning me
All that i see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell

Landmine has taken my sight
Taken my speech
Taken my hearing
Taken my arms
Taken my legs
Taken my soul
Left me with life in hell

My taste in music is constantly changing, so currently my two favorite song lyrics are Viva La Revolution - The Adicts and London Calling - The Clash...

Into the Dungeon with evil men
The people has risen we're free again
Come out of the closet
Come out of the hole
Come out of the woodwork
Come into the fold
Rebels and fighters, a license to kill
Unite with the bandits down from the hills
Open your windows
Open your doors
Open your minds
To a freedom of thought
Raise our voices, raise our flag
Smash the symbols of the life never had
Long live the symbols
Long live the scheme
Long live our hopes
Long live the dream
Dance in the streets at the carnival
Celebrate the victory now
Drink the wine from the rich man's cask
This revolution won't be the last

London calling to the faraway towns
Now that war is declared-and battle come down
London calling to the underworld
Come out of the cupboard, all you boys and girls
London calling, now don't look at us
All that phoney Beatlemania has bitten the dust
London calling, see we ain't got no swing
'Cept for the ring of that truncheon thing

The ice age is coming, the sun is zooming in
Engines stop running and the wheat is growing thin
A nuclear error, but I have no fear
London is drowning-and I live by the river

London calling to the imitation zone
Forget it, brother, an' go it alone
London calling upon the zombies of death
Quit holding out-and draw another breath
London calling-and I don't wanna shout
But when we were talking-I saw you nodding out
London calling, see we ain't got no highs
Except for that one with the yellowy eyes

Now get this
London calling, yeah, I was there, too
An' you know what they said? Well, some of it was true!
London calling at the top of the dial
After all this, won't you give me a smile?

I never felt so much a' like

I'll probably have a new favorite a week from now, don't worry, I won't post it. :P

I'll have red wine with my slice of donkey.

Wish You Were Here (Waters, Gilmour)

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Holy crap you have a HUGE donkey!

Ojos Asi by Shakira. The song is in Spanish and Arabic.

Ayer conoci un cielo sin sol
y un hombre sin suelo
un santo en prision
y una cancion triste sin dueno
ya he ya he ya la he
y conoci tus ojos negros

y no encontre ojos asi
como los que tienes tu

rabbou ssamai fika rrajaii
fi ainaiha ara hayati
ati ilaika min hada lkaaouni
arjouka rabbi labbi nidai
viaje de Bahrein hasta Beirut
fui desde el notre hasta el polo sur
y no encontre ojos asi

y no encontre ojos asi
como los que tienes tu

rabbou ssamai fika rrajaii
fi ainaiha ara hayati
ati ilaika min hada lkaaouni
arjouka rabbi labbi nidai
viaje Bahrein hasta Beirut
fui desde el notre hasta el polo sur
y no encontre ojos asi
como los que tienes tu

le pido al cielo solo un deseo
que en tus ojos yo pueda vivir
he recorrido ya el mundo entero
y una cosa te vengo a decir
viaje Bahrein hasta Beirut
fui desde el notre hasta el polo sur
y no encontre ojos asi
como los que tienes tu

This B&M donkey is so smooth!

I'm into the soulful beats of hip hop.. this is about love. a little poetic i think. from lauryn hill

When It Hurts So Bad

When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad
Why's it feel so good?
When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad
Why's it feel so good?

I loved real, real hard once
But the love wasn't returned
Found out the man I'd die for
He wasn't even concerned
I tried, and I tried, and I tried
To keep him in my life
I cried, and I cried, and I cried
But I couldn't make it right
But I, I loved the young man
And if you've ever been in love,
Then you'd understand

What you want might make you cry
What you need might pass you by
If you don't catch it,
If you don't catch it,
And what you need ironically
Will turn out what you want to be
If you just let it,
If you just let it

See, I thought this feeling
It was all that I had
But how could this be love
And make me feel so bad?
Gave up my power,
I existed for you
But whoever knew the voodoo you'd do?
But I, I loved the young man
And if you've ever been in love you'd understand
What you want might make you cry
What you need might pass you by
If you don't catch it
And what you need ironically
Will turn out what you want to be
If you just let it,
What you want might make you cry
What you need might pass you by
If you don't catch it
And what you need ironically
Will turn out what you want to be
If you just let it,
If you just let it

When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad
Why's it feel so good?
When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad

When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad
Why's it feel so good?
When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad
When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad
When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad
When it hurts so bad, when it hurts so bad

Okay, I'm kinda with Julie on this one....do we really need to see the entire song? I'll just spit out a bunch of lines that come to mind right away.

First, the single greatest line in the history of music:

"been around the world and found
that only stupid people are breeding"

"Flagpole Sitta" - Harvey Danger

"Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds"

"Redemption Song" - Bob Marley

"'Cause every hand's a winner, and every hand's a loser
and the best you you can hope for is to die in your sleep"

"The Gambler" - Kenny Rogers

"I've been puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn, and a king
I've been up and down, and over and out, and I know one thing
Each time I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race...that's life"

"That's Life" Written by: D. Kay, K. Gordon Sung by "The Chairman of the Board" (Google it kids ;)

And I wanna be there
I wanna go back down and die beside the sea there
With a tin cup for a chalice, fill it up with good red wine
I'll be chewin' on a honeysuckle vine

"Tin Cup Chalice" - Jimmy Buffett (these won't be real popular, but they mean a lot to me)

I was supposed to have been a Jesuit Priest or a Naval Academy grad
That was the way that my parents perceived me, those were the plans that they had
But I couldn't fit the part, too dumb or too smart
Ain't it funny how we all turned out
I guess we are the people our parents warned us about

"We Are The People Our Parents Warned Us About" - Jimmy Buffett

Reading departure signs in some big airport reminds me of the places I've been
visions of good times that brought so much pleasure makes me want to go back again

"Changes In Attitudes, Changes In Latitudes" - Jimmy Buffett

If our lives were that simple, we'd live in the past
if the phone doesn't ring, it's me

"If The Phone Doesn't Ring, It's Me" - Jimmy Buffett

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

"Wish You Were Here" (Waters, Gilmour) - Pink Floyd

And finally, one song in particualr that just couldn't be broken up. IMHO, it's the greatest rock song ever written. Each verse is brilliant on its own, but all together, the song is brilliant from beginning to end:

"Born to Run" - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Displaying "Online Enthusiast Morality" since 2006, with 99.9% more sarcasm.

I think Intamin should make a donkey!

Actually, its about Vietnam. You can hear the 7.62mmx39mm rounds(AK) and the .223 Rem, or 5.56mmx45mm NATO rounds from the M16s...

ALso, you can hear the claymores going off. A big clue are the Huey evac hellies.

An American Classic.

Here are the Lyrics to one of Weird Al's best songs ever:

Dare to be Stupid

Put down your chainsaw and listen to me
It's time for us to join in the fight
It's time to let your babies grow up to be cowboys
It's time to let the bedbugs bite

You better put all your eggs in one basket
You better count your chickens before they hatch
You better sell some wine before it's/its time
You better find yourself an itch to scratch

You better squeeze all the Charmin you can while Mr. Wimpole's not around
Stick your head in the microwave and get yourself a tan

Talk with your mouth full
Bite the hand that feeds you
Bite on more than you chew
What can you do
Dare to be stupid

Take some wooden nickles
Look for Mr. Goodbar
Get your mojo working now
I'll show you how
You can dare to be stupid

You can turn the other cheek
You can just give up the ship
You can eat a bunch of sushi and forget to leave a tip

Dare to be stupid
Come on and dare to be stupid
It's so easy to do
Dare to be stupid
We're all waiting for you
Let's go

It's time to make a mountain out of a molehill
So can I have a volunteer
There's no more time for crying over spilled milk
Now it's time for crying in your beer

Settle down, raise a family, join the PTA
Buy some sensible shoes and a Chevyrolet
And party 'till you're broke and they drive you away
It's OK, you can dare to be stupid

It's like spitting on a fish
It's like barking up a tree
It's like I said you gotta buy one if you wanna get one free

Dare to be stupid (yes)
Why don't you dare to be stupid
It's so easy to do
Dare to be stupid
We're all waiting for you
Dare to be stupid

Burn your candle at both ends
Look a gift horse in the mouth
Mashed potatoes can be your friends

You can be a coffee achiever
You can sit around the house and watch Leave It To Beaver
The future's up to you
So what you gonna do

Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
What did I say
Dare to be stupid
Tell me, what did I say
Dare to be stupid
It's alright
Dare to be stupid
We can be stupid all night
Dare to be stupid
Come on, join the crowd
Dare to be stupid
Shout it out loud
Dare to be stupid
I can't hear you
Dare to be stupid
OK, I can hear you now
Dare to be stupid
Let's go, Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid

My Sweet Shadow by In Flames is cool.

I'm selling heavenly sketches
A world out of my mind
Ready to explode in purity to fill the holes inside

An ever moving stream with glowing rays of light
Emotions tied to pass lies and I know I should let go

Tamed with confidence of a brighter future

I found a flame in the burnt out ashes... burn out, burn out!

Fueled, these new shores burn, dark past lies cold
Shadow, my sweet shadow, to you I look no more

Another dawn collapses
Do I need to be reminded
A glimpse of my safe home
A path to hide all anger

I found a flame in the burnt out ashes... burn out, burn out!

Fueled, these new shores burn, dark past lies cold
Shadow, my sweet shadow, to you I look no more

In circles I catch
A torch carried by the immortal
From depths that I created
In vain echoes fade

Burn out!

Fueled, these new shores burn, dark past lies cold
Shadow, my sweet shadow, to you I look no more

Fueled, these new shores burn, dark past lies cold
Shadow, my sweet shadow, to you I look no more

Fueled, Dark past lies cold
For you I look no more

Levan Polkka by Loituma.

Nuapurista kuulu se polokan tahti
jalakani pohjii kutkutti.
Ievan äiti se tyttöösä vahti
vaan kyllähän Ieva sen jutkutti,
sillä ei meitä silloin kiellot haittaa
kun myö tanssimme laiasta laitaan.
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
äppyt tipput hilijalleen.

Ievan suu oli vehnäsellä
ko immeiset onnee toevotti.
Peä oli märkänä jokaisella
ja viulu se vinku ja voevotti.
Ei tätä poikoo märkyys haittaa
sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan.
Salivili hipput.

Ievan äiti se kammarissa
virsiä veisata huijjuutti,
kun tämä poika naapurissa
ämmän tyttöä nuijjuutti.
Eikä tätä poikoo ämmät haittaa
sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.

Siellä oli lystiä soiton jäläkeen
sain minä kerran sytkyyttee.
Kottiin ko mäntii ni ämmä se riitelj
ja Ieva jo alako nyyhkyytteek.
Minä sanon Ievalle mitäpä se haittaa
laskemma vielähi laiasta laitaa.
Salivili.

Muorille sanon jotta tukkee suusi
en ruppee sun terveyttäs takkoomaa.
Terveenä peäset ku korjoot luusi
ja määt siitä murjuus makkoomaa.
Ei tätä poikoo hellyys haittaa
ko akkoja huhkii laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.

Sen minä sanon jotta purra pittää
ei mua niin voan nielasta.
Suat männä ite vaikka lännestä ittään
vaan minä en luovu Ievasta,
sillä ei tätä poikoo kainous haittaa
sillon ko tanssii laiasta laitaan.
Salivili.

Not that I understand what they're saying, but it's fun to listen to it and try to read the lyrics at the same time. :lolr:
