steambc500
Hey Guys, 62 years-young new guy here. Since my car accident of 10 years ago I can't go on wooden coasters anymore, and this has been a very hard thing to accept, especially since I grew up right next door to an amusement park. I would like to make a 25% scale section of wooden roller coaster track to hang on a wall, but I need the average (approximate) dimensions of a real track. I have tried Googling it but haven't come up with actual dimensions. Essentially I want to find the dimensions and also the type of wood, and how everything is connected (of course there are enough pictures out there which will help me to approximate how to connect everything together). Does anyone know of a site where they actually give the dimensions of the components; enough information to help me to make an accurate scaled section of track? Thanks much!
