Splash Mounatain Love seat

Postby GalacticHero » Sun Mar 20, 2005 8:55 pm

So Splash Mountain opened back up again. I just got back from DLR and a 115 minute wait for Splash. We finally got up to the loading platform and looked to our left. NEW LOGS! We thought that with an extra row, it would speed up loading-nope! A lot slower. They weren't even comfortable! The logs are about the size of a Honda Civic. And the "Splash" in the name should be taken out. Anyone have any other comments on the horrendous new logs for SM?

I thought the seats would be better and faster loading than before. Maybe you were there on a bad day for Disney. Probably Cast Member shortage.

^ They won't stop adding new logs until they figure out that, "Gee... if we have such a capacity nightmare, maybe we should widen the trough and the logs... wait... no. We're California, and we've got to suck in everything about theme parks."

Got to ride the new logs on Saturday, man they suck ass .. my GF even commented on how much these things suck .. not to mention they keep getting jammed and shutting the ride down.

When I grow up, I want to breed donkeys!

I actually prefer the 'original' Splash.
