West Coast Racers because it wasn't open for me in December.

 

In terms of how a coaster rode, I guess I'll say Tonnerre de Zeus. I did still like it, but it was disappointing. That coaster has always been atop my bucket list because of my love of CCIs, but it sounded like death and really crawled through the second half of the layout.

Does Nitro ever go down?

 

I'll pick Joker. I actually prefer Green Lantern and Batman, but my legs couldn't take those rides for an hour straight.

It was until I learned how bad the rain policy is at Knott's on the 5 days a year it rains in Southern California.

Getting the Orient Express credit from Rockwell Shows. The operator wouldn't let me ride it at one location, but a different operator let me ride it at another location.

 

25. Last time you bought fast pass?

 

If MaxPass counts, early December. Otherwise, it was at Dollywood during Smoky Mountain Christmas in November.

 

26. What was the longest you waited for a ride/coaster in 2019?

 

For one ride- 3 hours (including breakdowns) for Hagrid's.

For multiple rides- 7 hours for 5 rides on PNE Playland's Coaster in that unshaded hellhole of a queue

Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Canobie Lake Park, Fun Spot

Robb because it probably means we have an awesome ERT session somewhere. I'll go with Cedar Point because of how rare it is to actually be able to marathon Steel Vengeance.

The Knoebels pierogis. I got the wrong ones at the Round Stand and thought they were just ok, so I never understood the hype. A few years later, I tried the incredible buttery ones from the Roast Beef Stand thanks to coasterbill's pierogi map.

Best coaster I rode that opened in 2019: Copperhead Strike

Joker at SFFT. The funhouse queue and theming makes it even better than CraZanity!

I'm 20 years old, and even though I usually skip kiddie coasters, if I really wanna ride one, I take my little sister with me! I have never shamefully credit whored.

 

25. Last time you bought fast pass?

We bought a Flash Pass at Six Flags Fiesta Texas on December 22nd. It was our first time there, and we only had one day, so we decided to opt for it. Turns out it was pretty unnecessary, and crowds were great the whole day.

 

26. What was the longest you waited for a ride/coaster in 2019?

My brother and I waited just under 2 hours for GhostRider back in December.

 

27. What season passes/membership do you currently have?

Six Flags Diamond Membership and a Knott's season pass. We had Cedar Fair Platinums in 2019, but it expired and we only renewed for our home park since we aren't travelling this year.

 

28. If you could go to a park with anyone on this forum for a day who would it be and to what park?

I'd love to go to La Ronde with Coasterbill. I feel like I would spend the whole day laughing.

As I said earlier, Pantheon. I love Intamins.

My most ridden coaster ever? It's either Silver Bullet or Montezooma's Revenge. In a row? Probably Twisted Colossus during WCB 2015.

1. Visited 21 parks total in 2019, 15 outside of Orlando.

 

2. My best new-for-2019 ride is Untamed.

 

3. Phoenix, Skyrush, Manta and come to mind.

 

4. I haven't ridden any flat rides, so none of them are the best!

 

5. Best Rocky Mountain coaster under 130 feet is Untamed. Easy.

 

6. Tigris is the most recent Premier coaster I've ridden.

 

7. I'll be visiting Dollywood again this year!

 

8. Technically SeaWorld Orlando is my home park, I visited at least six times last year.

 

9. I'm most looking forward to going back to Dollywood this year.

 

10. Dollywood is better than Kennywood.

 

11. Hyperion disappointed me the most in 2019, though "disappointment" is relative. It's still pretty good.

 

12. One hour of exclusive ride time on Batman, please!

 

13. Kolmarden's Wildfire changed my top 10 most recently, slots at #8 behind Kumba and ahead of Ravine Flyer II.

 

14. The last park food I ate was at Animal Kingdom's Harambe Village.

 

15. I wish that Liseberg was my home park. I love that place.

 

16. I'm not sure I'm attracted to rides in that way, but I am looking forward to Iron Gwazi.

26. The longest queue I waited in last year was for Avatar Flight of Passage (as always), about two hours.

 

27. I have a Walt Disney World pass, and the SeaWorld / Busch Gardens Tampa combo pass. I renew both every year.

29. I'd rather ride Iron Gwazi because I don't have to hop on a plane to get to it.

 

30. I rode Phoenix twenty times on year at Phall Phunfest, split between normal day rides and Phunfest ride time.

33. Kumba is better than Montu - only very, very, VERY slightly.

 

34. I really dislike Great American Scream Machine and Dorney Park's Thunderhawk. Unpopular opinion, I also don't like the Kennywood Thunderbolt.

 

35. Ample Hills ice cream at the Boardwalk resort, it counts!

 

36. Let's replace Vortex with one of those fancy new Vekoma launched coasters.

I would say Jack Rabbit at Seabreeze. It wasn't like a massive disappointment, but it certainly fell short. The trains just seem so heavy and clunky and the ride just kind of didn't do much for me.

I rode the Sesame Street Carousel at USJ in the kiddie section - late at night (after most of the kiddos had left the park), when it was a walk on, so I couldn't justify NOT getting on it.

Six Flags St Louis. The crowd didnt' really call for it, but since my spouse cant really ride any of the bigger coasters/rides, I didn't want him to have to wait for me any longer than necessary.

hmmm. . . it was probably the 45 minute wait towards the end of the night for the CosmoWheel at Cosmoworld.

 

the lines at TDL/TDS were very long, but we used Fast Pass for most things.

Mostly, yes. But it was maybe my least favorite visit. It was October and it was like... hot AF and to top it off I had the tail end of a super sh*tty cold. I feel like I didn't ride that much. I really enjoy our annual autumn Virginia trips and it was like 90 degrees. It did not feel like fall. On the positive tip we had super good BBQ & collard greens from a food truck. It was insanely good and we went back for seconds - just more greens really. It made us poop a lot. Not like bad upset stomach. Just lots of pooping. Twisted Timbers and I305 are super rad. Tollway Terror too.

We did the Seaworld Food Fest jawn last year and we had Key Lime Fritters and also a frozen German chocolate cake slushies (with booze in them). Oh and the waffles w/ ice cream @ Knoebels. Can't forget about Kohr Bros down in Wildwood. I guess that deep fried moon pie jammy jammer was the best after all.

4. What was the best flat ride you rode in 2019?

Wow...thinking through this and I skip a lot of flats. Gotta be Drop Tower at KI...I love that thing!

 

5. What is your favorite RMC under 130 feet? (cheat sheet)

I've only ridden 2 RMCs ever so...Twisted Colossus?

 

6. What was the last Premier coaster that you rode?

Flight of Fear at KI

EDIT: Cause I'm an idiot and literally the last roller coaster I rode period was Electric Eel (not sure how I missed that the first time through #fakeenthusiast)

 

7. Name a park you've been to that you're already planning to revisit.

Seaworld San Diego (gotta get on Emperor)

 

8. What is your home park and how many times did you visit in 2019?

"School home" park is Lagoon, went once.

"Home home" park is Kings Island (not counting the Columbus zoo lol) and I went twice.

 

9. What park are you most looking forward to visiting in 2020?

No solid plans yet but I have a SEAS pass so I'm most likely gonna hit up BGT. Never been, and with Iron Gwazi opening I figured it would be a good one to add to my list.

 

10. Kennywood or Dollywood? Pick one

Never been to either but from what I've read Dollywood.

 

11. What ride/coaster disappointed you the most in 2019?

I'm a generally positive person, or at least I've learned to be. The only new big credit that I was severely let down by was Hurler at Carowinds, but it wasn't a bad ride.

 

12. You're at Great Adventure. You play that racist-ish gong game and win a one hour ERT session for you and your friends on ONE coaster of your choice. But damn! El Toro, Kingda Ka and Nitro are all down! So you ride...

I feel like Superman is marathon-able enough but I also think I'm in the minority for picking it.

 

13. What is the last coaster that changed your top 10?

Steel Vengeance. Yep.

 

14. Most recent park food you ate.

Mama Stella's pizza at SWSD.

 

15. What park do you wish was your home park?

Picking solely from the parks I've been to I'd say SFMM. 365 day operations--if I could hit that thing up on off-days I'd be out of my mind living the dream. I would say CP except it's seasonal and usually crowded.

 

16. What 2020 attraction do you have the biggest boner for?

F.L.Y. except with my current financial status I seriously doubt I'll be riding it anytime soon.

 

17. What park will you visit next?

Oof I don't know. Probably SWSD tbh since my grandparents live 5 minutes away and I travel down there frequently.

 

18. Favorite breakfast before a day at a park?

Clif bar. I only say this because it happens way more often than I'd like to admit...I leave my house super early to drive and don't bring food but don't feel like ordering from a restaurant so I just grab one while I'm filling up gas.

 

19. Cedar Fair park you visited most recently?

Cedar Point.

 

20. Was it awesome?

Oh you know it!

 

21. Skyrush or Candymonium?

Imma say Candymonium, mostly cause of that crazy airtime snap thing that I keep seeing in pictures. Looks to be one of the most insane B&M Hypers out there.

 

22. What 2 overseas parks do you want to visit the most?

Nagashima Spaland and Phantasialand

 

23. The best B&M coaster you rode in 2019 was?

Fury 325 no contest

 

24. What is the saddest/dirtiest credit whore thing you've ever done?

Somehow convinced all my friends to ride Puff at Lagoon with me. I owned it super hard, hands up, shouting, having a good time. It ended up being a fun experience for everyone at the expense of my slightly dying inside from embarrassment. But hey, gotta make stories somehow!

 

25. Last time you bought fast pass?

Cedar Point because that place is Ridiculous (it was a TUESDAY and my brother literally skipped school to come with me!!!!)

 

26. What was the longest you waited for a ride/coaster in 2019?

Waited 2 hours for my first ride on Steel Vengeance. It actually kinda ruined the experience...I was dehydrated by the time I got to the ride platform and it was kinda running slow anyway. I came back a couple weeks later and got a flash pass and got 3 redemptive laps on it; the ride now sits comfortably as my #3.

 

27. What season passes/membership do you currently have?

Seaworld parks. Got it in anticipation of taking a trip down to Florida.

 

28. If you could go to a park with anyone on this forum for a day who would it be and to what park?

I only know a couple people here in person. My day at KI with DILinator and RAWKIN was fun...let's do it again but this time at Dollywood?

 

29. Battle of the Busch 2020: Iron Gwazi or Pantheon - which would you rather ride?

Yes.

 

Probably Pantheon tbh...thing looks IN SANE.

 

30. Most times you've ridden one coaster (rough estimate or exact if you're a super nerd)

Diamondback no contest. Rode at least 50 times the first year; I'm sure I'm well over 100 at this point.

Actually now that I think about it Racer may have DB by a ride or two...

oof.

 

31. Congrats! You just won passes to spend A WEEK at the park of your choice! Dorney Park or Valley Fair? Pick one and why.

Dorney. Isn't Dorney better? I've never been to either tbh. But I am kinda a B&M fanboy so I'm sure I'd have plenty of fun on Hydra and Talon.

 

32. Talk about a park food that knocked your socks off

Oooooohhh the turkey leg at SWSD was pretty dang good.

 

33. Pick one: Kumba or Montu

Never ridden either (hopefully that'll change this year). Kumba looks more fun tbh.

 

34. What are your three least favorite woodies?

Excluding kiddie coasters it would be 3)Colossus at SFMM 2)Hurler at Carowinds and 3)Mean Streak at CP. I do have to say RMC and the parks have done a pretty good job weeding out the bad ones.

 

35. Best sweet snack at a park (degree of difficulty: not Dollywoods cinnamon bread)

Gimme a quarter for some gumball machine runts and I'll be perfectly content.

(jk, lol, although that's another guilty pleasure of mine)

Sea salt ice cream at Disneysea is my favorite to date.

 

36. Kings Island is on the phone and they want you to decide what is going in the old Vortex spot. What do you add?

B&M 4D coaster. My ultimate pipe dream.

 

37. What roller coaster currently sits at the top of your bucketlist? (degree of difficulty: NOT a new-for-2020 ride)

Shoot I have a few. But the one ride I've really wanted to try for years but never got around to it (and this is super lame so don't @ me) but SWO's Manta.

 

38. Name 3 parks you want to visit in the next 3 years.

All of them! The most ambitious being Nagashima Spaland, Universal Japan, and Phantasialand.
