It's great that they got the ride back open again as all the children are going back to school.

Also, from reports from friends of friends...it's even rougher than it was (IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!), so good luck if you go to ride it!

Why do I still have a donkey title???

As much as I want to one day ride Desperado, I'm realistically keeping in mind the place could very well have it closed for no reason and I've only heard reports that it's rough.

^^So glad I never have to ride that thing again! It was pretty bad the one time I did.

While I no longer live near Vegas, I still have family that lives there, so I am there a couple times a year. It has been several years since I have actually gone down to the strip, I went near it the last time I was there to go to TopGolf. Sometimes we would go to the Fashion Show mall, but now we usually just go to Town Square now since it's closer to where my family lives and much more convenient. We used to go so much more to see shows or even just walk around the garden at the Bellagio, but the parking and stuff now is just not worth it.

In the past, has Desperado operated in December?

I know the ride seems hit or miss even if it's supposed to open, but I may be out that way for work.

A slow season (it would be early December) and closed for low attendance is more my fear than cold weather.

If you read the Yelp and TripAdvisor reviews for Buffalo Bills, it is completely vacant most of the time. If you stop by on a Saturday when they are having a concert that weekend, the coaster might be open. The rest of the time, it sounds like there are less than 10 people in the whole place, so no use for any entertainment, most of the restaurants, or even table games, to be open.

I love to roam where the wild things are.

I rode Desperado for the first time last month. I can't speak for December, but the ride crew was honoring their posted ride hours in September. It should be noted it was kind of windy that day, and the crew needed 15 riders in order to dispatch. With that said, after the horror stories I've heard of the coaster, I thought it was running quite well for a 25 year old Arrow hyper. Granted, I was applying the Magnum seat belt trick and was in the front row, but I thought the quirkiness was quite fun and not painful at all.

^^ Thanks to you both. Normally I'd call, but that doesn't seem to make a different with Buffalo Bills.
