Thanks for sharing some older photos of the park! I didn't get there until 2010, so I never got a chance to ride Great American Scream Machine or Viper. I definitely can't complain about the latter's replacement though.
I was thrown by the old photos for a bit until I went back and re-read the beginning haha. I got to the construction photo of Kingda Ka and then the old Rotor and was like waaaaait a minute. Nice walk down memory lane for me!
On our swing back towards home, we swung by Hersheys chocolate world to stock up on some snacks and check out the tour.
It's been years since we have been here, so I really don't remember much from our first visit. What a cool tour that is more of a dark ride type of thing. This does not go thru the actual factory, but a loose recreation of how chocolate is produced in the factory. The best part is at the end when they give you a sample size bar of Hershey chocolate.
