Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/182nd weekend of the season, more Wonder Woman pics!Users viewing this topic: No registered users and 1 guest Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18It's reassuring that the Wonder Woman delay supposedly isn't due to the actual ride, since of course I'm keeping my ear out for any growing pains with these new RMCs.
I really enjoyed Batman, but if I ever have a problem with one, now I'll know to try tightening the restraint. Very detailed and informative report--I hope the park is working on addressing the minor issues you mentioned. Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18Great report!
We're making our first trip there later this year and I'm definitely pretty hyped. Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18Looks like you guys had a really good visit to the park! I'm impressed with how much was running, albeit slow dispatches, this early in the season. I'm really interested to hear how Wonder Woman is once it opens. They clearly have a lot more work to do on it but boy is it a neat looking coaster!
Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18
tell me when you come to Texas (if in 2018).. assuming I'm in town, I'll absolutely come down to meet you at the park! Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18
it really is. and you know how it's hard to follow the track exactly in the pictures for the whole circuit? it's like that in person too! honestly, it's hard to follow the whole circuit.. one gets lost in the twisting track! and I didn't really notice if they had the "lake" retaining wall going all the way around the base, but over by the loading station, it certainly looks like they hadn't demolished the retaining walls from when it was the Power Surge, so it certainly seems like this coaster will be sitting over a lake, as it looked in the promo teasers. Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18
I mentioned the Loony Tunes figures missing (and how it looked very tacky) in the survey they sent me -- Fiesta is really good about sending out survey to Season Pass holders in the days after a visit. woudln't hold my breath on that kind of stuff tho.. the figures from Roadrunner Express have been missing for *years* at this point, it seems. but hopefully the Bugs & Yosemite Sam figures will be back in the Flume ride queue soon! (the other stuff, was just minor opening season stuff to work out.. so I'm sure that will get adjusted. I'd have to guess the wet weather affected the paint plans thruout the park ![]() Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18
like I said to Boldy. . lemme know when in Texas.. the park's only 1 1/2 hours away, and if I am around would love to drive down and hang w/ y'all. and as noted, Fiesta has a Sports Bar on site now ![]() Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18
me too! everything but Der Twister! (and I noticed 2 kiddie rides down (mini teacups, and the school bus).. but everything in Kidzopolis was running. Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18Thanks for the update on Wonder Woman. Great shots of all that twisty goodness! It looks really fun due to that. And kudos for the Marvin the Martian photo op.
Re: Trip report: Fiesta Texas, 3/04/18Loved the report!! Thanks for the photos! Golden Shower Coaster is looking amazing! Can't wait to give it a go this summer! It's been way too long since I made it down to this park!
