Actually, cedarpoint tried to do a Christmas event before (I believe it was in the 90's), and it failed. I think it failed because of the lack of things to do, not so much the weather. If you check out youtube, there is a video of the event.

I was thinking more that it was left over from Castaway Bay, which undoubtedly has Christmas stuff in it during December and probably a mall Santa sorta thing.

So jealous that you guys got to see the old ballroom as that is something that I would really like to check out. While it is a shame that they can't use it for some type of guest interaction, I'm glad to see that it is still in such good condition and being used for training and such.
