Hello to all, Welcome to my first TR! Last week I took a trip to the Magic Kingdom, just for about seven hours. I'm a WDW passholder, so I go all the time, but I thought it would be fun to take pics. And some actually came out good! Yay for accomplishments! Let's get to it!
Splash Mountain x2 Space Mountain x5 (woot!) Big Thunder x1 Seven Dwarfs x3 Barnstormer x1
Okay, with that out of the way, enjoy the pics!
Got my new MagicBand today along with a Star Wars sleeve. #swag
This made my day.
While I didn't stay for the Halloween party this time round, I'm definitely going at one point this year. I never miss it, and chances are I never will.
Always one of my favorite things to see at a park.
As soon as I got into the park, they started a little show on Main Street. While I didn't see the full thing, it was a great little act. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Original shot is original.
Finger in the shot says, "Lets go to Adventureland!"
Aladdin was running a 20 minute wait all day. Way too long for a flying carousel. Didn't want to ride anyway.
Who remembers this as a good ride? Anyone? Hello?
There's regular toilets. Then there's Tangled Toilets.
On my way to lunch I caught a picture of SDMT in action. And while I was doing that, a guy waved at me. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.
So this was my first time eating at Be Our Guest. I was really excited. And the food was great! I got the croque monsieur and French Onion soup and it was perfect! Definitely looking forward to returning!
Best element ever.
Why I did this, I don't know. I hate this ride, and the line was longer than I've ever seen it before.
Oh well. At least I got a credit out of it!...right?
PhilharMagic is a real hidden gem of the park. I personally love the show, but no one ever goes. I bet Disney already has plans for replacing this.
As I entered Tomorrowland I stopped at my favorite snack spot at MK.
Experiment 626 is loose!
Space Mountain was running in top form. Smooth, fast, and enjoyable in every way. Plus, only a 15 minute wait! Can't top that!
What's up with all the hate about this show? I think its great! Amazing special effects, funny moments, and really nice-looking animatronics make this a really nice attraction!
On the way out, I decided to snap a random sign picture. Just cuz.
In the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room, in the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room...
Here's a tiki from the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room.
Dinner at the Crystal Palace. Yum!
Ah yes, how could I forget? These grass areas on Main Street are AWESOME!
This friendly sign here led us to the exit. Had one of the best days at MK ever, and that's huge for me! Thanks for reading!
Wow, it's been a while since I posted here. I must be lazier than I thought. Yesterday I went to Universal Orlando Resort for another one-day trip in the Theme Park Capital of the World, and I had the greatest time at the two parks in a looong time. There was no one there, mostly because it was a Tuesday, and at least 50% of the population were at some concert series at Hard Rock Cafe... but still, the parks were dead, and it was good cuz EVERYTHING WAS A WALK ON. I'm not kidding. I didn't take as many pics at the Studios as I did at Islands of Adventure, possibly because I like the latter park much more. Anyway...
SCORECARD: Rip Ride Rockit; x1 (btw, what's up with all the hate with this coaster? I think it's great!) Revenge of the Mummy: x3 Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster: x2 Harry Potter & the Escape from Gringotts: x4 The Incredible Hulk Coaster: Still SBNO Dragon Challenge: x1 for each side Flight of the Hippogriff: x2 Pteradon Flyers: x1 Let's get to the "Photo" in "Photo Trip Report", eh?
Walking into the resort! First stop, the Studios!
Two photos in, and I already got the signature shot. What can I say? I'm gifted.
As soon as I went inside of the park, I made a beeline for lunch and this was happening. Your guess is as good as mine...
I wanted this hat so freaking bad.
Springfield! A land based on my favorite TV show!
"You know what the difference is between you and me? I make this look GOOD."
See you later, real world! We're heading into Diagon Alley! And you know what that means...
...yes, that's right, BUTTERBEER! I swear, I would drink this for my entire life if I could.
"I started in Ireland, my father gave me a small loan of 1,000,000 galleons, I moved to London..."
Inside platform 9 and 3/4. Hello Hedwig! :D
Flight of the Hippogriff is the best kiddie coaster in existence, IMHO.
*sings theme song at top of lungs*
Moving on to Marvel Island. Sigh...
I miss you too. :(
The final section I visited was Seuss Landing. Yes, the sign was being repainted. Moving on...
I thought this was cute.
And here, in it's natural habitat, we see the rare Derp Fish.
I really like the idea of One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Fun water/flat ride combo!
On our way out, see ya Rocket Mail... thing...
Dinner at Emeril's... this place is really good! Highly recommended! (Yeah... it got dark out fast.)
All in all, I had an AWESOME day! Thank you all for reading! -Dom
