Apparently they've been standing at the entrance to Rita then suddenly springing to life and hissing as visitors walk past them. Very much looking forward to going on Tuesday.

I love donkeys more than me.

Looking good so far, all except for that New Moon poster in the picture above, which leads me to the question, do the wraiths sparkle?

I would actually have a heart attack if Alton Towers themed this ride to Twilight. Then i'd go live there 24/7! Hmmm sparkly.

There is no such thing as a donkey punch.

That looks pretty tall to be a family ride...

Just my opinion though.

Is there a height on it yet? (as in how tall is it?)

I hope it's not a Twilight themed ride, that would be very disappointing, to say the least. As for the ride itself, I think this is going to be a gem, even though it's a family coaster. Can't wait.

Don't worry, the Twilight saga's just sponsoring the halloween events, not the attraction. Dark Forest is its own thing entirely.

The trees are around 70ft high, and Alton is not allowed to build above tree-height, so I'm guessing it is around that.

I don't think it's really a "kid oriented" family ride. "Intamin Family Coaster" probably is just the name of the coaster model. My guess is something between a kiddie and thrill coaster. Not too intense, not too slow.
Best: | 1. Medusa (SFDK) | 2. Coaster (Playland) | 3. Behemoth (CW) | 4. Giant Dipper (SCBB) | 5. Titan (SFOT) Worst: | 1. Grizzly (CGA) | 2. Flight Deck (CW) | 3. Corkscrew (Playland) | 4. Dragon Fire (CW) | 5. Rainbow Chaser (Fun Forest)
- Rides don't hurt people, people do. (although some exceptions)

I can see this coaster being a cross between Fluch Von Novgorod at Hansa Park and Mine Train Ulven at Bakken. Which would be fantastic. I just hope the theming is pulled off more successfully than Saw.

As for the "World's First" element, I'm stumped.
