Bill I think you should ride it today to see if that theory stands up.

Come on, do it for science.

Then we'll be playing truth or dare with this sign.

All jokes aside, GL was actually running very smoothly yesterday. It's still a garbage ride, but there was no headbanging to speak of.

^ You sure about that? Maybe your head was just too numb from the cold to be able to feel it. :)

I know that sounds insane, but you have to believe me lol. It helped that I was leaning forward. But to be fair, I was bundled up pretty well so perhaps the layers of clothing absorbed all the shock.

From their official Facebook page:

"Due to the forecast of extreme cold, the park will not open for Holiday in the Park on December 31 or January 1. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Not surprising, but still a disappointment.

Regardless of how the weather is affecting which rides are open/the park being open, I say Holiday in the Park is a successful venture.

I haven't been to the park since September and didn't go a lot this year but I still renewed my passes cause it's still an amazing deal, just didn't find time this year.

I'd say today is most likely the last day, I can't see them opening tomorrow if it snows.
