Re: Shanghai Disneyland Discussion ThreadCool float! I wonder if they will save and re-use it in the park somehow. Or any park for that matter.
Re: Shanghai Disneyland Discussion ThreadThe float looks amazing! Can't wait to see how SHDL will turn out, it would certainly be one of the most crowded parks in the world.

Re: Shanghai Disneyland Discussion ThreadIsn't the park still like 18 months away from opening? I mean, I'm all for public awareness, but c'mon.
Re: Shanghai Disneyland Discussion ThreadWhy pass up the opportunity to advertise and build up good will for the park?
Re: Shanghai Disneyland Discussion ThreadDoes anyone know if they plan to use Magic Bands and the My Disney Experience at Shanghai Disneyland when it opens? If they do plan to expand that service to other parks eventually (which I'm sure they do) it seems like it would be a lot easier to open Shanghai with the system from day one instead of trying to introduce it at some time in the future.
Re: Shanghai Disneyland Discussion ThreadNothing has been announced about the use of any MDX or Magic Bands in the new park. I would guess though, the infrastructure is being installed for it. So at a later time, when the whole park is online and operating smoothly, they have the option to use the system.
Re: Shanghai Disneyland Discussion Thread^ DO you have any insight into the timeline of expanding MDX and Magic Bands to other resorts world wide? Seems like they could potentially sell enough accessories in Tokyo alone to finance the worldwide expansion of the system haha.
