There are certainly places to eat at the park, but what I mean is that nothing really "stands out" at Magic Kingdom. We usually kind of meander around, and end up at some place like Pecos Bill or Cosmic Rays out of lack of anything better. Liberty Tree is one of place places that may be fine for some people, but just "isn't for us." No offense, but the menu seems not very inspired as Hamburgers, Salads, Pasta, Roast Turkey, Mac & Cheese, and Pot Roast all served up "family style" is just kind of... I dunno, seems very "Golden Corral" sounding to me. Sorry.

I'm sure it may be good, but it just doesn't scream "signature restaurant" to me. We haven't tried Tony's, and we keep meaning too, but I think if we want something Italian on Disney property, it's really hard not to eat at Via Napoli.

We did Cinderella's Royal Table once, and I thought it was just awful. We were rushed through the meal, the food was just "strange", and I don't even think Elissa or Kristen ate anything. If I remember right, we went to Cosmic Rays afterwards! It was seriously one of the worst Disney meals we've ever had.

The liberty tree lunch is not served family style only supper. I agree with you on the castle. My wife and I ate there several years ago and did not like it, and we are not picky eaters. I also agree with you on the yak and the yeti. It's worth going to animal kingdom.

The new beauty and the beast restaurant, is supposed to be a signature dinning experience.

I booked our dinner reservations for july, and I had a hard time deciding what restaurants to eat at in magic kingdom. There just is not that many choices as there is in the other Disney parks.

Okay, here's my golden contribution to the Imagineering department for today: Rip out Stitch and put in a
"spacey,"/futuristic-themed restaurant utilizing the Food Loop thing at Europa.....with good food, of course.

Done.

You're welcome.

Just dont get the apple pie...

But I would much rather have the meet and greet there, and a new roller coaster/dark ride to replace it. I just hope that all of the effects and animatronics, just remain kept up and not left to rot, (Like Splash Mountain, Small World, Everest, Dinosaur, etc.)

Maybe the money will start flowing back to improvements soon... I hope.

That was my understanding, too--at least for dinner. I hope it's a cut above the Liberty Tree Tavern. I ate there before it bacme a character-dining venue, and the food was OK, but nothing special.
