Has the park been doing any teasing with the construction?

No. . .
"B&M will NEVER build a coaster over 300 ft..." until 2012
"Cedar Fair will NEVER build a coaster taller than MF..." until 2015

What would donkeys be like on the moon?

I realized my layover (like always) is in Charlotte. So I am gunna fly in early and leave late and sneak in a day at Carowinds!
What type of crowds could I expect on a Sunday in late Aug, (the 25th)?
Is it possible to get multiple rides on Fury and do a good amount of the park, all the essentials, without fast pass.
As always Im no cred whore, I am ok with skipping the boomerang, wild mouse, the family rides are deff being skipped.
Ideally would like the rest, but ya know...am open to skipping nighthawk or the B&M stander though Id like to hit em.

You’ll be fine. School should or will getting back in session around that time so crowds will begin to fizzle out then.

Good ole Glory hole teasers :lmao:
After riding Lightning Run I can not understand why parks are not lining up to buy some Hyper GTX models. That little ride rocks

I have to give Cedar Fair credit. Setting several attractions in a shared universe is a pretty clever way to rehash the same basic theme over and over.

This is terrible. I feel bad about the little girl's unicorn :( (from this article). In a way, this is really only "theme park news" because of where it happened, but I'm impressed by what I've heard about how the park responded.

Shit happens.

Very excited for this new coaster, whatever it may be. Carowinds' top three is already really solid and a fourth major coaster is exactly what the park needed.
Steel: 197 / Wood: 33 / Total: 230
Home Parks: Knott's (when home), Lagoon (at school)
Favorite Coaster: Intimidator 305

On one hand, I'm really overdue for a Carowinds trip and should've gone a while ago, but on the other hand I'm glad because I'll get to go when they have the 4-punch instead of just the 3.
1. Fury 325 | 2. Millennium Force | 3. New Texas Giant | 4. Outlaw Run | 5. Maverick | 6. Twisted Cyclone | 7. Iron Rattler | 8. The Voyage | 9. Goliath (SFGAm) | 10. Time Traveler
