It's nice that they're building a new ride, and it's all well and good to make the name of the ride be a different language, but reading that name, all I(a person who doesn't know Latin) can imagine is a bunch of fat guys spontaneously combusting... Either way, I'm sure the ride should be good.
Just keep swimming...

I just looked up the phrase itself and it does indeed mean foolish fire but it is a name for the phenomenon of the will-of-the-wisp. So that makes alot more sense.

The "original" announcement was in the Morey's Piers 40th Anniversery book "A Wild Ride". It was mixed in with a BUNCH of pictures of projects in the works.

Interesting. Morey's is such a cool place. Even if their coasters are a bit meh, the flats make up for it.

My guess is that it could be a flat ride or a small coaster. How is the park space wise? I don't know because I've never been If it's good, I may add this to my list of summer trips though as long as the place is PPR.

^ I haven't been since '08 and I never got the SLC credit. They've rearranged a lot of things between '08 and now, so I don't know about space issues. They do have PPR and the POP was pretty expensive from what I remember.

The park is located on a pier. The ride site is located in a small space and is under waterslide and the supports are scattered all throughout the site.
