This is definitely going to be an interesting visit, with no cellphones on either of us.

By the way, I did also read about the paper passes that non-phone people like us can use,
with locations noted to get the passes. So we do know about where to get them, etc.

So... this is going shockingly well

Having these reservation-only days ahead of the actual opening and now issuing return times for the entire land seems like it's really worked out. Based on the other wait times the parks as a whole don't seem all that crowded today. It's nuts.

Makes perfect sense! With the park is only letting the land itself get to a certain capacity (no clue how they will judge this). You have to join a Boarding Group and will be told when you're able to enter the land.

So, its reasonable to assume that the attraction wait time won't ever be some massive 600 minute wait, because the park is controlling the amount of people that have access to it.

I'm impressed that there are still boarding groups available for this afternoon 3 hours after opening. I wouldn't have expected that at all.

I too expected a nightmare when they opened it to the masses, but it looks very reasonable so far.

3 hours into Galaxy's Edge *opening day* and the longest wait in Orange County belongs to Ghostrider

... didn't see that coming.

People online are showing 3-4 hour waits, but when checking the app, it's currently at 65 minutes. The park as a whole is not busy at all. Space is 30, indy 35, and Pan is 30 as well. It's a great day to go if anyone had doubts!

You’re not very familiar with Knotts operations then ;)

The ride also has a very high capacity with all four carousels operating.

^ That reminds me. Does anyone know how Smuggler's Run cycles through the cockpits? Every video I've seen of the queue is so seamless. I know the main cockpit obviously rolls away from the loading zone and ends at a new exit zone with a new, damaged hallway, but no idea how it moves between the two.

You say there's 4 carousels, so once you get put in the "holding pen" do you get divided there, are there 4 different holding pens, etc? Things like Mission: Space and ToT I was able to piece together pretty well, but this one has me baffled.
