You can see some footers poured, you can see the rebar metal that they turn into footers being assembled, you can see a crap ton of land prep and digging all over. They appear to be moving in between Vortex and Timber Wolf Falls now with tree removal and digging. There were also a couple of holes in between the river and Minebusters Queline.
The yellow excavator is piling down, likely to bedrock, to support a heavy load (lift hill?) They are not simple footers, usually dug out, that can hold a section of track. Of course, if the soil is weak, they might have to pile the whole coaster. Nice shots! If you could get the company name (such as Anchor Shoring) not brand (like CAT or John Deere) of those excavators or even pickup trucks, I might be able to get some info. Banshee construction started before the season as well, correct?
Also, they couldve started early so that vortex can be open by seasons start, instead of having to close the ride early for construction come September/October.
