I had some awesome burnt ends at Cedar Point once but it was from a food truck.

I don't want anyone to think that I'm talking up Famous Dave's because the food is "OMFG Amazing", but it's good and if I went to a random strip mall and paid the same price it would be "fine". We love Famous Dave's for the location and because Cedar Point's food in the park is all sh*t expect for Panda Express which always has a stupid long line and (maybe) BackBeatQue. Melt is probably good but I could never eat that and not regret it a few hours later.

But yeah... we like Famous Dave's because you get to chill in the marina, have some drinks and watch the boats and Millennium Force go by. If you sit inside, you're doing it wrong and you should feel bad. BackBeatQue would have to be amazingly good for me to eat there instead because Famous Dave's has such a great location.

Here's the view from the patio, BackBeatQue can suck it.

^ Speaking of Famous Dave's, we went to Carrowinds, another Cedar Fair park, and upon leaving the parking lot on the access road, what do we see? Famous Daves. Not quite as nice of a setting, but good for a chuckle.

Yep, exactly right, on both counts. Although the beer selection at Melt is pretty great.

The best thing about TPR is the donkeys.

Mabel's downtown has Cleveland Style BBQ. The sauce is mustard based.

I love Melt more then Dave's. They have some of the best sandwiches and love the beer selection. I love the Monte Cristo, deep fried ham and swiss sandwich.

You lost me at deep fried. 15-year-old me would love Melt. 31-year-old me would not.

Also, there's no Marina.

To the ones that want good BBQ in Ohio if you make your way down to Cincinnati there’s a place called Eli’s go there.

No Marina but there is A/C which is needed on those hot days. They do have other sandwiches, the Philly Cheese steak one is really good too.

I've never understood the love for Melt. Around these parts it seems to fall into the old "If you are from Cleveland, and you don't love everything that is from Cleveland, you are anti-Cleveland and the hell with you" mindset. And yes that is a real thing, and I'm totally susceptible to it, and I still don't get Melt.

But to each their own, the location is cool, and they look to have a good selection of beer.
