Even the LA Times has picked up on the story from Screamscape.

While the park denies the project it looks like it would be a great addition.

I thought the same thing

Sounds cool, SW could really use a "normal" coaster.

I think Donna Frye is already smoking up a storm about this rumour.

A decent coaster please, Legoland back up the highway has a more thrilling ride line up than Sea World San Diego.

I hope it doesn't ruin the great atmosphere the park has.

^ I agree with you. Although JTA is pretty loud, it's out at the far boundary of the park. The place where they want to put this is pretty quiet and has a nice atmosphere. I wouldn't want them to ruin it.

This is great news! I hope the rumors are true...

Maybe a shark-themed coaster with a launch through an aquarium? :b

Nice!! :lmao: For people who don't know who Donna Frye is this wont make sense but this is hilarious and totally true. If she wasnt in the San Diego City Council Sea World might be alot bigger and better.....which could be a good or bad thing depending on who you talk to in San Diego. Me personally dont care either way, but it would be nice to have at least one "Thrill Ride" in the park.
