^Thanks for the heads up, Bert. SFOT was only open 5-10 yesterday. We pretty much only ride coasters and are cool with skipping clones if time is short. I have ridden FoF at KD and KI, and The Joker's Jinx at SFA, so missing Poltergeist wouldn't be the end of the world (but I do love those Premier launchers).

The SFFT website only lists Goliath as closed ATM. I have ridden three Batman clones including last night and we will be riding Great White Thursday as well. So this visit will be all about Wonder Woman, Iron Rattler, and Superman. And maybe a s'mores for the daughter.

I'm surprised that the park is open this week with schools being in through at least Thursday and most in through Friday. Any night this week would be a great time to go, especially with the fairly nice weather we're having right now.

The best thing about TPR is the donkeys.

Went to the Park last night- what a great night! Everything looked great and very few people.

Sweet. That seems like a much better design than the old Tamagachi style.

that's what SFOG was using when I was there in July! Glad to see them rolling them out to the other parks.

Anyone have an update on the Yosemite Sam Ride? Just wondering if they are going to attempt to repair it or scrap it.

Hey, I'm looking to visit the park the last week of daily operation (which I assume is the week before kids go back to school), and was wondering how busy the park usually is around that time. I'd be spending all Thursday, Friday, and part of Saturday at the park.

The crowds should certainly be far from unbearable. My experience with that week in August is that it's busier earlier in the day and what crowd there is will then out as the day goes on. Saturday might be a little busier. It will likely be pretty hot at that time, so be prepared.

Can I park my donkey here?

Some news from the ACE Winterfest event in Arlington. According to the park;

- Yosemite Sam's Gold River Adventure will be opening back up, at some point. The timeframe was not given.
- The Oil Derrick will be re-opening this year, as well
- The park announced "Splash! Water Parade" that will take place a couple times a day during July and August
- There will be nanocoasters for both New Texas Giant and Titan.

Also a Coasting for Kids event will take place at some point this season. Date was not given.
