USH decides to remove landmarks for...land.

Postby XLRBR » Fri Dec 08, 2006 10:11 pm

I just read on Screamscape that USH has decided that they are going to get rid of "landmarks" like the famous "PSYCHO" house, the War of the Worlds disaster set, the European Village, and other things. To me, this is MADNESS!! Especially since it's for APARTMENTS! Here's the link: http://www.screamscape.com/html/univers ... lywood.htm
What do you guys think about this bizarre decision?
Everyone has a photographic memory.
Some just don't have film.

Yeah, but do you know the WHOLE story? Like will Charlie Sheen live in one of those apartments?

Huh?!?!

A donkey is a domesticated member of the Equidae or horse family.

^ Uh. Does anybody actually give a rats ass about Charlie Sheen? Or where he may potentially live? ;)

And this is really bizarre news. Downsizing a world-famous movie studio lot for...lofts, homes, and hiking trails? In Hollywood? WHAT? Why!? That 351-acres could've been the Islands of Adventure West. UGH! [sarcasm] Rather, let's build more homes, 'cause Los Angeles isn't already dotted with homes and countless housing projects. [/sarcasm]

Yummy! I just ate donkey!

I think that they're trying to get rid of those sets because:
a) USH isnt the most popular park out in California.
b: Saving money somehow.

But it still blows that they want to make appartments out of a movie theater.

why, that's brilliant!
Problem: The park isn't popular enough
Solution: Tear more of it down!

That's bound to bring in guests by the truckload.

I love donkeys more than me.

but the psycho house? Come on! I think that's one of the very few sets that IMO, USH HAS to keep, forever and ever. And if they would like to remove it, then they should at least relocate it, imo. :shockr:
Don't worry, it's an emergency! I'm Chuck Norris
