There are three cameras out there for consumers (I think) JVC makes one and Sony makes two (one for Pal). Just curious. They are getting cheaper by the day. Heck this was the first year we DIDN'T do VHS tapes and that was a big deal for us! We'll probably do it eventually, but we don't even have a HD TV at home! Other than having a couple of DVD players, cameras, and lots of video game consoles, we don't have a lot of electronics.
