  1. Im sorry, I didnt get the PM about the poster. I am interested! Please let me know.
  2. Can I have a PM please, am well interested if the price is right! Especially the poster
  3. I would have to agree with TPDave - Corkscrew is rubbish and I try and avoid it unless Rita's queue is too long when i get there. I always come out with red ears! I wonder if any B+M's made it in this list?
  4. Hello! Just wondering if anyone knew what was happening at Alton or any of the UK parks for 2007? I have heard some rumour that Thorpe is getting a floorless, but i think it may be too late in the season to build for 2007? I personally would love to see a good floorless in the Uk - They are by far my favorite steel coaster design and Kraken was one of the best coaster i have rode. I also would like to see more woodies in the uk parks for variety and hope Alton gets theirs soon! What would you like to see at the major uk parks?
  5. I would have to say Sheikra - staring down 200' foot vertically! EEP! Oblivion didnt really bother me when i first rode it as i think you are only 100' off the ground or so, and you cant see the rest which makes it a bit easier - and then probebly Kumba, Hopefully I can get to ride Riddlers when i go in September
  6. You beat me to it! They have some great retro videos on there too from the old days, That "wood" be some ride if it goes ahead, I think its time for the corkscrew to go though and they can put the station of the woodie in its place, it seems so rough now compared to all the new coasters, its 26 years old this year i think, older tham me!

  8. You are right in they build above the trees - but the lift hill was going to be about 70' ish and then the first drop would go into the gardens which is well below the trees, about 150' below, hence the 200 foot drop. Im trying to find the site with the plans on
  9. Hello all! I went to AT again at the weekend and i having seen the supposedly initial plans for the rejected woodie which starts in Ug Land dropping 200' into the gardens and switching back by air and back to Ug Land again, i was very surprised to see a huge line of trees from the ug swingers heading into the gardens have been chopped down. I think this is very bizarre to do this just as the season starts, but the cleared space is wide enough to fit about 2 wooden tracks? Does anyone know any more on this? Only an observation but thought i should mention it.
  10. I went to Thorpe on the 31st of March, first time I have been and once in there i then discovered stealth was down, collosus was down, slammer was down and tidel wave also, not that i wanted to get wet but this this not really make this a good trip - I know they cant open them if there is a H+S risk but 3 major rides out of operation and within the first 2 weeks of opening??? Not good! Got a refund though - not really the point as it cost me £60 to get there!
