Was it really cold in the Grand Exposition section?!
Everyone's wearing winter clothes and the trees are naked
I have a season pass to SDC and have only been once so far this season
I'm trying to plan a weekend back down there (from KC) sometime in August. I've never been to Celebration City either. I'll have to make it a two day weekend and hit up WWB+CC on day one and SDC on day two.
Nice trip reports.
Oh, and the Thunderation photo is also CLEARLY recycled...I missed that the first time....GOOD ONE!
Who has the best action river? I know Schlitterbahn has some cool one's. I'm not talking about the boring lazy rivers. I like the ones with drops, curves, and rapids. Where they at?
This is me, my dad, and two best friends (Jim/Laurie) behind us finding out that the launch on Powder Keg is actually pretty intense. I love the look on Laurie's face. This photo cracks me up everytime I see it.
Powder Keg - May 2005
It does seem like a very smart ploy to give it a strange name to coincidently stir up buzz about it.
I've had several friends bring up in conversations, "Have you heard the official name for Nintendo's new game machine? Isn't it ridiculous?"
I, personally, hate the name "Wii" but that's not going to stop me from buying one. I'll keep referring to it as "Revolution", though.
CEDAR POINT:
This is opposite of my "closet coaster" post where I think the most underrated coaster is Wildcat
For this post, the move overrated for me is Gemini.
I don't get the hype, I was pretty bored on that one.
I last went to Cedar Point in 2001 and we had the most fun on this coaster. I've never laughed so hard on a rollercoaster and we rode about 5 times in a row. The helices towards the end are insane!
There, I'm out....I like Wildcat!

Finally! Found the almost-perfect alarm clock. Almost-perfect because it doesn't have a CD player, but the website says they plan on adding that to future product enhancements.

If anyone's in college or plan on going to college you might want to get one of these if you have staggering time when you need to wake up each morning.
I'm trying to find an alarm clock where I can set it to wake me up at 7:00am Monday-Friday, 8:00am on Sunday, and leave me the hell alone on Saturday; unless I'm getting up early for some reason (i.e. amusement parks), then I can set it to whatever I need the night before.
Does anyone know if there exists an alarm clock that can do this?
Would you have ridden Goliath, Batman, and MindBender?
Three of the best coasters in the park and you either decided not to ride or you couldn't ride because of your sister? I'm sorry, but if I got up to ride Goliath and my sister chickened out, I would point to the exit and say "SEEYA!"
^ LOL! I finished, this morning, reading through every page of the "Picture of Me" thread. All 181 pages of it. I started yesterday, got half way though, then finished this morning.
I know...pretty crazy, but I'm new around here and it was a neat way to "meet" people around here. Especially Niiicolaaaah....she takes alot of pictures
