  1. No. Mean Streak Construction b/c it's on the park border doesn't effect other attractions, It's not like building something on the main causeway. I could see it being done before the season ends and they just don't open it till 2018. The fact CF has RMC working on Hurler, which is a much smaller coaster already and they have opened for the year, makes me think CF may want both done by end of season 2017 or late fall right after closing. But, not open either until 2018 and that CF might have another project for RMC next off season....CA Wonderland?
  2. My comment wasn't necessarily directed at you, or anyone in particular. It was just something that seemed to continue to come up as we get closer to opening day. It will be interesting to see what they do throughout the season. I'm guessing coasterbill is right and they'll just leave the train gates down and leave it at that, at least for a while. And I appreciate that! I was genuinely curious to hear some other thoughts and the discussion is a nice departure from boats and complaining about not being able to post pictures. New Mean Streak Photos are sick...More out every day.
  3. Sorry you don't like facts and know nothing about thus park, but per your usual arrogance chime on on something you know nothing about. Stick to repeating your same post on park anniversaries.
  4. To summarize, if your going to waste your time and ride in absolute obsolete piece of garbage, this is not as much garbage as other 40 yr old pieces of junk.
  5. Yes, b/c you clearly know nothing avout the park, thus b/c you're ignorant, but arrogant per usual. Stating a known fact that Giant Drop is a very low ridership ride is trolling. The fact is VR was used at MM to up ridership on Revolution, a low ridership ride. VR has also been used that way at other parks. Go pound sand.
  6. What are you people complaining about. Nobody hardy rides Giant Drop. It's a walk on most of the time or max 10 minute wait. They are putting VR on it b/c it;s not used, just like they put it on Demon another low ridership attraction. VR is best used as they are doing it, to try to revitalize the ridership of low use rides.
  7. New leaks of Mean Streak are amazing....can we skip 2017 and go to 2018 now.
  8. Raptors are also 1/2 capacity as T-Rex--Not a good idea for a major new coaster at a major SoCal amusement park--especially during Knott's Scary Farm. Raptors were designed for smaller parks. I see MiA getting a B&M Giga before KBF gets an RMC Raptor. The Boomerang leaving has a capacity of 760/hr...clearly capacity is not a priority. Removing a 30-year old, low-capacity shuttle coaster for (potentially) a B&M with a theoretical capacity of 1500 riders per hour. Doubling Capacity. Clown boy..There is a reason KB has not gotten anything for years and years and years and CP. KI, Carrowinds has... Now let's see how long it takes you to figure out why before you have to be told

  10. Yeah and eveyone thinks Intamin Pre Fabs are perfect too. Until Colossos (Heide Park) Closes down for an entire year because now it feels like a jackhammer on your spine. NTAG is only 6 years old. People thought Arrows were smooth when they opened. We have NO IDEA how RMC's age. They could end up as the worst rides on the planet (Highly unlikely but still possible) Desperate
  11. LOL. You're acting like this is RMC pre NATG..RMC has a proven track record of success not only with their many Six Flag parks converts, but with ground ups like Goliath, Wildfire, etc...
  12. It could be RMC Raptor. and not T Rex. Raptor is the same "monorail" system as T Rex concept at lower price point. Raptor is a smaller coaster. Also, at IAAPA interviews with RMC they hinted at Raptor being somewhere and that it would be built before a TRex. Raptor is TRex on smaller scale so makes sense to test out and sell a Raptor before building the more expensive Trex.
  13. Don't know if they would bother putting it on Flash Pass Platinum if it's only VR till Memorial Day.
