  1. Hi all! Exciting news are coming to Parque Warner Madrid! As next year will be the 15 anniversary of the park, there is a pack of new rides and experiences comming this 2017. The user HollywoodStar (whose rumours usually happen to become true) shared on CAPTE.org the different news of the park coming next year: - New animations (March 2017) - Renewal of Hollywood Parade (March 2017) - Renewal of "Warner Nights", special 15 years (July 2017) - NEW "Justice League Splash Zone" - Warner Beach water park (July 2017) [CONFIRMED (1)] - NEW interactive dark ride "Battle of the Justice League DC Comics" (October 2017) [PARTIALLY CONFIRMED (2)] Plus, - NEW Batman: la Fuga virtual reality coaster [CONFIRMED (1)] (1) Recently, Parques Reunidos published it's financial results. In the document, there was a section for next year's new projects, which included details on the new water park expansion and the new virtual reality coaster. (2) The director of the park, Diego Gracia, confirmed that a new ride would replace the Batman simulator (Batman: la Sombra del Murciélago) in late 2017 ( ) JUSTICE LEAGUE SPLASH ZONE According to Vicarpi's user in CAPTE.org analysis of the artworks, these would be the new slides that would be added to the water park: "- Superman (red-blue): 6 track raced slides - Wonder Woman (red): closed and vertical slide, possibly capsule. Possibly with a loop, the first of it's kind in the peninsula. - Wonder Woman (yellow): closed slide with to two curls. - Batman (yellow-black): closed slide, given the size it could be for floats. - Joker (purple-green): closed slide, given the size it could be for floats. - Harley Quinn (red-black): closed slide, given the size it could be for floats as well." This area is already under construction. 8 million € will be invested in this expansion. BATTLE OF THE JUSTICE LEAGUE DC COMICS 4D DARK RIDE Little we know about this project. Even though it has not been officially confirmed that it will be a Justice League Dark Ride, we do know that it will open on late 2017 and it will replace the batman simulator ride in the Gotham City area of the park. The new ride is said to be manufactured by the Sally Corporation, and it will be similar to the Justice League's dark rides in Movie World Australia and Six Flags parks. Even though it has not been confirmed, it makes sense: the Justice League debuted this year with meet and greets and Warner Beach's expansion will be themed on these characters. The ride will be placed in an already existing building that recreates Bruce Wayne's mansion, so the construction process won't be visible. However, there are reports of construction trucks working behind the building. Some rumours say that the opening might be postponed until 2018 to be presented as new ride of the season, as 2017 will already bring new experiences (slides and virtual reality), which might be the reason for which the ride doesn't appear in Parques Reunidos' financial results document. BATMAN: LA FUGA VIRTUAL REALITY Parques Reunidos' financial results document also announces a new virtual reality roller coaster called "Batman's Scape Warner". The document does not explicitly announce that this coaster is Batman: la Fuga, but since there are no other Batman coasters or Warner parks in the group, there is no other possibility. Besides, Batman: la Fuga is translated as Batman: the Scape, which is almost what the document says (Batman's Scape). Parques Reunidos already implanted virtual reality in a roller coaster in Bobbejaaland. Batman: la Fuga to be converted into a virtual reality roller coaster. Sky Coaster at Kennywood also will incorporate this technology. The Warner Beach water park will have a new 8 million € expansion with slides themed after DC Superheroes
  2. There is missing the new ride for Parque Warner Madrid. The director of the park confirmed that a new ride will replace the Batman simulator (Batman: la Sombra del Murciélago). The ride is still unknown but it is rumoured to be a dark ride themed after The Justice League, just like the ones at Six Flags and Warner Bros. Movie World. He says so in this video, minute 3:05.
  3. Dragon Khan, it seems that everybody love it while I find it too intense and abrupt.
  4. Great photos and great report! I guess you went in August, am I right? In August the park launched a special discount during a specific week, and a loooot of people used it, much more than what was expected. As a consequence of this, the number of workers wasn't enough and the waiting times were longer than usual because of the slow operations. I'm telling this because I'm surprised for your bad queue experience: during the season the operations have been improved considerably, more employees have been hired and rides like Batman, La Venganza del Enigma or Coaster Express run much more faster and with more trains; this is one of the multiple improvements that the new director, Enrique Fontecha, has introduced along the season. For the first time in years we've got a GOOD director that knows what has to be done, something that in the next three years will be see... What do you thing of Warner Beach? How much time did you spend in there? Do you think the price of the ticket is expensive? Do you think it is well themed? I want to know all the details, it is always interesting to know the opinion of a non-frequent visitor of the park
  5. Great photos!! I specially like the ones you took of Tornado! I'd like to clear up a couple of things: first, the trim that Abismo has it is not for slowing down the speed during the ride, it has the function of saving the train from getting stuck at the bottom of the camelback just in case it made a rollback in the lift, which is not very frequent but it could happen as there is not anti-rollback system. The other thing is that the photoride of Abismo is NEVER working, not just when you went (as well as the ones in Tarantula and the log flume). I'm looking forward to seeing the report from Parque Warner
  6. I was wondering, will this be the first Gerstlauer's hyper coaster? I have checked the company's website and the RCDB but I couldn't find anything similar. The coaster looks awesome, and I love how the park creates expectation by revealing the details gradually. I find curious that, though Karnan will open next year, the construction won't finish until 2016, just the same as what happened last year in Tripsdrill with Karacho, the ride opened but they were still theming it during the season. We can expect a deep thematic inversion if the construction will take that long.
  7. More photos! Playa Malibú, the wave pool of Warner Beach It looks like Leghorn Foghorn will be the life guard of the Beach Those are the locker rooms. The Big Wave, the unique shop of the zone El Embarcadero, a Scooby Doo themed restaurant (the Mistery Machine can be seen in the photo)
  8. Now they are working on the theming (signs, looney tunes figures etc,) and planting palm trees. They have also been filming the tv spot, it is expected that in a few weeks we will see it on tv. There are splendid views of Stunt Fall from the wave pool, don't you think?
  9. More pics published four days ago. There are no noticeable changes except for the wave pool, which now is filled with water.
  10. The solarium has been added the sand. They have also been testing the slides with water to make sure that there are no fissures. As we can see in the pics, they are now working on the gardening and the theming. The buildings have almost been finished.
