  1. All great manufactures. I love Schwarzkopf for their lap bars, B&M for the smoothness and their innovative concepts, Arrow will always a special place in my heart, Vekoma....um, they make... ...roller coasters. Which leaves Intamin. If I had to come up with a top 5 list of steel coasters, I don't think they would make the cut. However, they're still my favorite. Logic need not apply.
  2. Love the pictures! I think I'm going to snag a couple to use on my desktops at work.
  3. I'm considering spending 3 days at Universal in January, and get the hopper pass. How easy is it to walk between the 2 parks and then get over to city walk for the Blue Man Show once I've parked my car? I'm not going to be staying on the property. I've never been and I figure the 3 days should allow me to take my time and enjoy the park.
  4. Is the deposit refundable? I would really like to try a TPR trip however it will all depend on my vacation approval for next year. Our vacation requests have to be in by mid-November. Should your finilized dates be released after the fact, I may still be able to switch things around. I would rather put in a deposit upfront to ensure a seat on the bus, rather then wait until after the fact to see if I can go and then chance waiting for a seat to open up. Your trips look like a lot of fun.
  5. Thanks for the info. Unless these passes a friend might be able to get for Disneyland materialize, we'll probably head to Knott's. It sucks they're closed so early, but it's better then nothing right?
  6. Hey all, I'm heading out to California to meet up with a friend for a convention Halloween weekend in Pasadena. We both land at LAX around noon on Thursday Oct 30th. I figure we'll have a couple hours to go to a park and I was looking for a suggestion between Disneyland, 6FMM or Knott's. I'm not interested in the Halloween mazes, nor do I want to put up with crazy lines & massive crowds. I've heard that my home park, Canada's Wonderland can be absolutely insane for Halloween events and don't want to put up with it. Could anyone shed some light on this? Where would I get the most rides in? I'd really appreciate it.
