  1. Air Race at Luna Park! There needs to be more of these around the country!
  2. I had a great time at Hershey Park on Friday night (Preview) and Saturday! Skyrush was amazing, rode both trains with both "noodles". Can't say I noticed much of a difference between them....although I learned it felt better if I put my hands on the side bars instead of on the front grab bars to pull up. Great ride, may do a trip report sometime soon.
  3. Since it looks like my original question got overlooked by a debate: I'm going to Hershey for the first time this weekend, will be there tomorrow night for a few hours and then all day Saturday. What are somethings that I must do, aside from the coasters. I'm looking to have a general all around good time. Any suggestions would be great.
  4. I'm headed to Hershey Friday Night and Saturday for an ACE event (don't hate). This will be my first time here. Any suggestions for things I must do?
  5. Even with the speculation from the Sandusky Register, if you think about it Ocean Motion is very close to the park entrance as well as the picnic area. I'm all for a new coaster, but not such a big fan of the speculated front gate coaster.
  6. My question about the proposed location passing over the main midway is, would it affect Ocean Motion, since they just moved it?
  7. Mine is a tie between Dollywood's and Cedar Points. Both different style of trains and different experiences, but I enjoy them both the same!
  8. I'm going to be going to SFGAdv for the first time on the 11th! I'm excited, I'll reach a milestone in credits, 100 (I know, nothing too crazy to celebrate but still). I'm trying to decide which coaster to make my 100....I'm deciding between: Superman Ultimate Flight, Bizzaro and El Toro.
  9. I wouldn't necessarily boycott a park. Unless a park does something specifically that affects me. Now if a park started to pursue an agenda that I completely don't agree with, maybe I'll boycott, but I just go for the rides and being with friends.
  10. Awesome pictures! With Cedar Point being one of my home parks in Ohio, it's my favorite! It's so easy to spend 3 days there and not do the same thing over and over. Glad you had fun!
  11. With Kings Island being my home park I just have to say this! In 2011, Cedar Fair Partnered with Guinness Book of World Records and set all different records throughout the different parks. Well, I think in 2012, Kings Island should partner with them again to have the World's Largest Bonfire! I've had good and bad experiences on Son of Beast. However, the bad has outweighed the good. When I worked at the park, I saw a few different "contractors" scaling the ride and checking it out. I just wish they'd announce something and plan for something else! If you haven't seen the most recent incident report check it out: Son of Beast Incident Report 2009
  12. Wow! Great pictures! I can't wait to get down to Dollywood in May! To anyone who's been there, is SkyZip still there and does it cost to do it?
  13. Not sure on the shows since I generally spend time on rides all day. Do any of the other windseeker's sway that much on the descent? to me it looks like they didn't even install the dampers yet. Keep in mind that there is little weight to the seats without riders actually in them in this pov. Rocking/Swaying is natural and will be after spinning around. Both Kings Island's and Cedar Point's WindSeekers sway that much on descent. When actually riding them I've never felt like the seats in front of me would have collided with my knees and I'm a tall dude!
